Makes sense that she'd choose his; powered armor (even the wooden kind) generally has very broad shoulders.

Seems a bit in conflict with what Coyote said earlier about Ysengrin hating the lot of humans.
Methinks there will be yet another shocker before this chapter ends.

That is the biggest shoulder she knows of, even bigger than Egger's. No wonder she went off to the forest.
Annie's probably going for a holiday in the forest. She's already looking a bit better. Not angry anymore. Just sad. Let it out, lick your wounds, have a nap in the grass.. and then things will seem a little less dire. (:

Methinks there will be yet another shocker before this chapter ends. I hope so. P.S.: About Ysengrin, of course) Interesting, will Court(or just Jones) continue to train Annie for a post of the medium after this incident?

I'm loving all the silent pages in this one. They must be very hard to get right.

I doubt Ysengrin is there on his own behalf. He's Coyote's messenger. Still, I think he knows that Annie is not without sympathy for him. [update]No, more than sympathy: compassion.[/update] And, oh, my gosh -- how long has it been since Annie's been comforted in male arms? Carried, yes, but perhaps not so tenderly. I like it. Interesting, will Court(or just Jones) continue to train Annie for a post of the medium after this incident? Annie is in fact a Medium, it seems. The Court's only choice is whether or not they will continue to train her to act on their behalf, and I think she's too powerful for them to be willing to lose her. The real question is, will Annie still be willing to work with them? I think yes.

I really like this page. I love how no words need be said between Annie and Ysengrin. He has carried her in the past and I feel he truly is affectionate towards Annie..... in as much as he can be affectionate to a human. =)
And I must say, this is one of those chapters where I can't wait for the updates.... every single page makes you want the next page even more.

I think Coyote will give her something to think about, like the implications of Surma having a child despite knowing that it will ultimately cost her life.
Also, Coyote's careful manipulations to get Annie and Ysengrim to get along, even like each other to some extend, seem to have paid off already.
I wonder what Rey is going to think about the fact, that after he hurt Annie, she runs straight to Coyote and Ysengrim. Somehow I have the feeling, that Annie turns into something like Rey's opposite: She belongs to the Court, but is drawn to the Forrest. Just like Jeanne...

Maybe Rey knows something about Forest like what Annie and Kat knows about Court? Awww Yssy's just a big ole softie. Yeees) Just like Rey, also he wants to kill ALL people, not ONE)

Right, right... Maybe Rey knows something about Forest like what Annie and Kat knows about Court? That makes sense. Renard answered to Coyote's pleads with "you know how I feel about that" and then "besides, I broke their laws, remember", so I can see this being true to some extent.

I made a prediction that Annie would spend a training montage's worth of time in the forest.
I believe we have come to that.
When she emerges, she will have over 1 million furyoko and an armored oversoul named "el gato fuerte*.
Annie for Shaman King.
Hoowa.

I have to say that apart from Anthony, and maybe Jones, Ysengrin is currently the most mysterious character so far. So far, all we know of his personality is that he hates humans. However, he seems at least respectful towards Annie. Is there a reason for this? And why does he hate humans as a whole in the first place? I hope this is explored, as when we first met him, he gave the impression of a shallow character, which was odd compared to the depth Tom puts into his other characters.

It's been said already, but: Awww.
But I'm imagining Tom writing this scene just so he could make that pun.
