That's one dangerous seed! It seems to have disabled Robot while it was growing, and the forest was not kind to his chassis while he "slept". I notice the wings fell off - a bit of a fallen angel, hmmm?

Lovely timing, MRW. x.x Poof, there goes mine: here's my commentary. Hmm. This is interesting... I wonder if the shadow grew from Robot like the arm did, or was able to act on him because of it? Not quite sure

Oops, sorry Aspen, I didn't think you were logged in. I'm wondering the same thing about the shadow. And it's also unclear if the evil shadow is in fact associated with the green-eyed man, or just an opportunist.

No worries. ^^
Hmm. I think that the Shadow is a minion of the Nice Man, since he was able to control Robot, which seems to be linked with the arm.

I'm also curious about what the link is between the wooden arm and the Shadow-man. I doubt that Robot knows, but it'll give Annie something new to investigate.
I liked the touch of the wooden arm being introduced into Robot's body as a seed and growing to its full size there.

That can't be a normal seed (yeah, just wanted to state the over-obvious). There's probably some magic involved that allowed Robot to be possessed, and my guess is that the shadow-folk is somehow connected to gilletie wood (I mean more connected than just the fact that they live there. In Greek mythology there are stories about dryads, of which they could be some sort of nasty form). Perhaps the creators of GC chopped down a big part of the forest and now they are pissed off?
I'm still wondering about the extension to Robot's chip though, that one did not seem to have grown organically.

So we aren't going to see any more of TVNM for a while. Hmm . . . I think that he's actually a good guy who resorts to underhanded and ruthless tactics. I feel that a right proper evildoer would have gloated a little, or something; not just planted a seed and gone on his way.

Or perhap that's what he WANTS us to think.

Yeah...I don't think you can gloat much at an unconscious robot. Or maybe he DID, and robot just didn't notice. That sinister cloak looks fairly darn evil to me.
