I see poor Robot hasn't been informed of Mommy's whereabouts (namely, in the same room as him/it/whatever pronoun you prefer).

Well, since he can hear now, they'll be able to tell him that she's all right after all.
(Though Annie's going to need to have a very long time with a comb and a hair-brush after this.)

Seeing Robot's CPU made me think of these from my basement. I'm posting them here because they're not really fanart. (I'll move them if anybody wants me to) This one could be photoshopped into Robot's CPU really easily: Or these. This one is just so darn cute. Good for Boxbot! ;D When I first saw Robot's CPU, I immediately thought "what's the lid doing way off to the side like that?" But given Kat's comment, it's not the lid, it's some sort of slave or parasitic processor grafted onto his CPU. With Robot's CPU, the lid must be on the bottom? (I have some like that, actually) I hereby declare these pictures public domain. Edit: I forgot to say how much I like Annie with the mussed-up hair. She looks great.

So apparently Eglamore took care of Robot pretty fast after Annie went over, he's still back at the bridge. I wonder if he did it because he thought Robot did it on purpose/was dangerous, or out of anger or something? This one is just so darn cute. Good for Boxbot! ;D awwww! Boxbot-sized!!

Poor robot. But at least he's not scrap. ;D I'm worried what that extra chip is. I hope the hostile shadow isn't in control of it, but how a shadow would be able to add a chip piece is beyond me. (Unless it was somehow installed originally by some unknown person.)

The "some unknown person" isn't such an improbable notion. It could easily have been the Very Nice Man who also gave Robot the wooden arm.

I still wonder what it must be like for Annie to be a mother-figure to somebody, in light of what Surma meant to her.

Haha, he'll also be able to see Antimony! He has a camera!
I always wonder with comics; is it still developing the cadre of characters? I suppose good stories always are. I'm just wondering if this is going to be Robot's body and they're going to carry him around like that on their adventures.

To quote Kat: "Haha aww!"
Basically that's what this comic made me do.

Previously I postulated that the extra bit on Robot's CPU was a slave processor. At the time I thought maybe it was something the Very Nice Man had grafted on there to take control of Robot (a parasitic processor), but given how nice he's behaving I doubt that.
So, now I postulate that the extra bit is what makes Robot special - either what gives him a personality and morality that other robots don't have, or some it gives him special ability that we have yet to see.

This is a very late post-
while perusing my copy of gunnerkrigg court last night, I noticed on this page that there is a symbol on the 'extra piece' on robot's CPU. I don't know if anyone has brought this up already, but it seems to be the alchemical symbol bismuth. Any thoughts?
