It's 2010 in my neck of the woods, and I figured I'd pop in and say Happy New Year! Here's to another great year of mysteries, speculation and tantalizingly unanswered questions. May thine days be filled with awesome laser cows and no Boxbots.

Crazy future people. A little over 6 hours til it becomes January here. Is anyone eschewing the December->January New Year in favour of one of the more fun ones e.g. Chinese New Year, Rosh Hashanah, the Water Festival? (Wikipedia is my friend - Did you know that in 2008 there were 2 Islamic New Years? I didn't)

I prefer the term "Spacemonaut".
(Coincidentally, I was watching 2001: A Space Odyssey for the first time when the clock struck midnight in my neck of the woods.)
Happy 2010, everyone.

Kriggers, eh?
There are three hundred sixty-five days left until the first of January next year, approximately. It is indeed something to celebrate!

Happy New Year folks. As always the ball drop is something to behold, and the festive atmosphere is great.
