Tonight I came home from work to discover the newest GameInformer had arrived. For those that don't know, GameInformer is a videogaming magazine that most people subscribe to because it comes with a free GameStop discount card. Each month they do a spotlight page on new tech and peripherals (including comics and toys) and it doesn't appear these are ever paid advertisements. This month, being the season, it was the several-page Holiday Gift Guide 2009! Imagine my shock and amazement when I turned and saw on the "Media Shelf" section... Gunnerkrigg Court; Orientation. I've included a postage-stamp sized, poor quality scan for the "proof." (Not intending to violate any copyrights, I decided to cut out only the parts that involved GC.) So Tom... did you know about this? Attachments:

Speaking of which, pre-orders are up for Gunnerkrigg Vol. 2: Research on Amazon. I don't know if it's been there for ages and I'm the last to know this or not. I just was seeing if I could get Orientation for my brother and it popped up and I'd never heard of it before, so I thought I'd mention it.

Haha hurrah for this thread being stickied. Also, Wynne: Indeed, Tom actually drew the cover for Research while streaming over Ustream. But he hasn't said much about it otherwise- it's not a surprise that some fans aren't aware of it ^^

It's also being offered in the Perma-Bound graphic novel list, so there might be copies showing up in schools all across North America. Apparently there was a review in the American Library Association's magazine 'Booklist' last march...? Very cool. www.perma-bound.com/ViewDetail/37831-gunnerkrigg-court
