First of all -- welcome to the boards, arvetis!
Secondly, are you talking about eye-movement, perhaps? Looking to one's right is supposed to be an indication of falsehood. Or perhaps it's the other way around -- I don't remember. I don't think it makes much logical sense however to use the findings of human neurology to determine the likelihood of deceit in Rogat Orjak. :-)

The symbol in Reynardine's eye-fire? This, here. The symbol is supposed to represent her ownership of him because he's in her stuffed wolf, right? But he's clearly got the symbol before he's in the wolf. I think it does represent her control over him, but not because he's in the wolf. Maybe something her mother did to him, or charged him with, or something like that.
