Interesting, the lockpicks seem to have merged with Reynardine/the plushie entirely...

Well, that was.. odd... But yeah, it fits with Reynardine pretty well. Lovely art on this one, Tom.

It took me a while to even recognize them as the lockpicks. I thought that they were some mechanical part that he'd stolen from somewhere.
(Envisions Annie asking Reynardine where he got such-and-such a contraption, and Reynardine replies, "Oh, it was just lying around." The scene then changes to a robot toppling over onto its side due to one of its legs having gone missing.)

Creepily reminisent of the T1000 Terminator impaling John Conner's stepmother Sarah Connor = Surma Carver? Or maybe not. Reynardine keeps positively surprising me in everything from character development to gleeful awesomeness – the latter, here, obviously. Must be uncomfortable to have no bones but be filled with sharp metal implements.

I've been wondering: why isn't Reynarding protesting more about helping Annie free Robot when Robot so obviously had it in for him?

I doubt that Reynardine's that understanding, or forgiving.
But I suspect that he's bored enough sitting around in the toy box all day that he's ready to do anything just to have a change of scenery.

heh, I was curious how the lockpicks would manifest themselves. Reynardine is certainly not very subtle!
Do you suppose they'll be able to get out with Robot's cpu without setting off a bunch of alarms? It seems like Annie could get in a lot of trouble here. Can you imagine Eglamore's face if she gets caught and turned over to him?
On the other hand, I can picture Adminbot with hands solemnly pressed together: "Criminal behavior must be studied..." Flash to Annie strapped to an operating table, with that creepy X-files robot arm from #217 bearing down on her forehead. "The procedure is quite simple..."

He either feels he owes Surma's family, or he's planning an evil plan involving the stealing of Annie's/S13's/someone's body.

I think Reynardine is wants to reactivate Robot as much as Antimony, but for different reasons: he probably wants to know the reason of Robot's attack. Reynardine doesn't seem to be the kind to be very forgiving to his enemies.

Rey is such a cutie pie the way he just sprouts machinery with abandon like that
