(as you can see, I've been reading too many smutty fanfics...) Not appreciated.

You see? YOU SEE?
Every time you think something dirty about the GC characters, you make a humble man in Birmingham shed a single, cold tear.
On a more related note, a camping trip sounds like good sport. Court's gotta keep in touch with its outdoorsy roots y'know.

Sorry about that. My bad. Will never happen again.

In my experience, a field trip is where you go to somewhere educational and get to look around (a museum for instance, or my brother recently went to Switzerland to look at mountains and glaciers and whathaveyou because he is studying geography).
A residential is when you go to someplace that is not educational in itself (a campsite, a youth hostel, something like that) but you are still given lessons and/or study and you get to know your fellow students better.
Ergo I reckon the plot will still advance as the kids will still be learning, but there will also be a chance for some good character development. And as we now know Rey has been left behind so Annie is going to have to spend more time with people her own age.
This novel of a post brought to you by someone who is very excited about the new chapter. I can't see me having any 'problem' no matter what happens.

That makes sense, MishMash... thanks for the clarification. We don't really have residentials in the sense you described it over here. Not during the school year anyway.

My high school did a couple, one in my first year to get to know all the new people in your classes from different primary schools, and one in my final year to help all the prefects bond or whatever.
I also had a couple with an orchestra I was in, with several hours a day of rehearsals and the rest for activities.
I cannot say they will definitely continue lessons in this chapter but there is a chance.

Actually, by your definitions, this could still be considered a Field Trip, remember that the kids learn in a place where nature is virtually non-existent, Kat is probably the only person other than Annie who has been able to see and touch a tree, based on what we've seen thus far. (That room, remember?) Seeing as the other kids are comparatively...normal, shall I say, they likely haven't seen a forest, or at least not at their teachings in the Court. Maybe they'll learn something about the subject here? We'll see soon, I suppose, or maybe not, based on how this progresses.
Also, it would seem that rule thirty four takes another victim. How unfortunate.

Ah. I see.
...
Well, I admit defeat on that subject. I entirely forgot about that little bit.

A field trip is any trip organized through the school, where I come from. The highschool band trip to Ireland was as much a field trip as the trip to the children's museum, prison, or the 8 grade day hike.

Actually we know for a fact that that is him, and that this is also him in the last two panels of this page.

Thanks - I'd not noticed Tom had confirmed in the Forum. So on another point, "I stop by now and then to help tidy it up": Eglamore hasn't had much time to stop by. So what has he been up to?
