Are you any closer to getting the hell of out this city? Still here for the forseeable future.

At the very beginning, Antimony said that Shadow 2 was only the most prevalent of several strange occurrences she'd noticed during her first week at the Court. May I ask what some of the others were? Probably some extra stuff that happened that wasn't shown.

Come to think of it, how "real" are Mort's illusions? I assumed they were just outright optical illusions but he can shape shift (and interacts accordingly, such as when he tried to scare Janet) and presumably Antimony and Paz couldn't feel the door under the illusion that it was gone. So do they have some sort of tactile component to them or can Mort produce solid objects?

Mort's illusions are tangible if he wants them to be.

I'm not sure if this has been asked before, if it has, I apologize. Are any of the characters based on real people you know, including yourself?

Not directly, no. Though one of my favourite teachers at school was a Mrs. Donlan. My other favourite was a science teacher.

There is plenty of weird stuff happening all the time. For example: there are robots.

There is plenty of weird stuff happening all the time. For example: there are robots. Robots aren't weird. They're AWESOME!!!!! Well, OK, Montgomery is weird. But if Antimony had seen robots those first couple of weeks, then #6 and 7 aren't nearly so funny. You wouldn't take that away from us, would you?

I'm not the one trying to poke holes in minute details here.

I'm not the one trying to poke holes in minute details here. BLASPHEMY! =8•O *Every* detail is of the most supreme importance. There can be no contradictions. Otherwise the universe would collapse in upon itself. Which it clearly has not. Therefore there are no contradictions. (I wish I could have found a clip of this for you: Fan 1: In episode 2F09, when Itchy plays Scratchy's skeleton like a xylophone, he strikes the same rib twice in succession, yet he produces two clearly different tones. I mean, what are we to believe, that this is some sort of a [chuckle] magic xylophone or something? Boy, I really hope somebody got fired for that blunder. June: Uh, well, uh... Homer: I'll field that one. Let me ask you a question. Why would a man whose shirt says "Genius at Work" spend all of his time watching a cartoon show? Fan 1: . . . I withdraw my question. Fan 2: On the "Itchy & Scratchy" CD-ROM, is there a way to get out of the dungeon without using the wizard key? Homer: What the hell are you talking about? June: You're a lifesaver, Homer; I can't deal with these hardcore fans!)

Does Anthony have an anti-Reynardine barred-eye tat, too?

However I'm not too picky when it comes to birds. Yes yes, pigeons are quite more awesome than people give them credit for, and I've never been unhappy to see a crow, though they do get noisy in large groups. I hope you don't mind my pointless talking about birds, I cannot sleep and it seemed like an all right thing to do. Here, I've gone and drawn this now, too: A drawing of a pigeon in return for the fantastic comic that you provide. Just a little way of expressing thanks to you for brightening my day each time the comic updates.

Will the short story in the next two weeks be told in graphic novel/comic strip format, or regular writing?

I've scanned both the comic and the forums as best I can, without success, so forgive me if this has been answered before. Just who is Tea? Is she a character in the court, or is she just your fourth-wall narrator? If there's an existing thread that talks about her, I'd like to know about it.
The character that appears with her looks a lot like your own avatar from the back. Is that supposed to be your own self?
Thanks for the superb entertainment.

Thanks. Oh, and thanks also for spelling the name of that ship correctly; it's always a pleasant surprise to find someone who knows that it was the Mary Celeste and not the Marie Celeste.

About how long has the Court been in existence? (In the comic, I mean, rather than how long since you thought of it)

Do the different houses have different courses of study? They all cover the same areas of study, but in different manners.

How much do your treatises have to do with the upcoming chapters? Are they mostly for artistic and symbolic appeal, or to fill us with wonder in anticipating the new topics to come?

They are more for summarising chapters which came before it, while also hinting at things to come.
