I created this account here solely to help out with this project in a musical capacity. Let me begin by saying that Sunny Birmingham is absolutely perfect.
Now that that's out of the way, I can start talking about what I can bring to the table.
I use the Mixcraft DAW with a variety of soundfonts, most of which are freeware (can haz money?). And actually, as it turns out, I just graduated school, which means I'll have a lot more time... and WAY more money. I intend to purchase a good full pipe organ VST and a good orchestral VST. My compositional expression is influenced by classical composers, chiefly from the 20th and 21st centuries... stylistically, I am a minimalist.
As a demonstration, I am preparing something I feel would be suitable for Diego: a dirge of a choral, "Shrine of a Coward," followed by a John Adams-esque joyride, "Mechanical Mind." Look for an upload from me soon, as I have the choral done, and have yet to complete the second movement.
In any case, I look forward to lending my skills to this project in what ways I can, whether it's through original work or arrangement of others'.

God, I am going to have even less free time now. I'll be back when I acquire a copy of Sibelius. I lied. This is for a certain power plant scene involving Zimmy. soundcloud.com/agent-cheese/autumn-rainEDIT: Was made in a few hours, I just noticed one of the instruments sticks out a bit too much in one section, so there are edits to be done to this here and there.

Has anyone doen any remixes of Annie's theme? As the main character she gets a lot of screen time, plus her personality has two pretty distinct facets. I could picture the lullaby playing in the background of Fire Spike for example.

Hi, I'm back!
I finished a draft of what's become "Diego's Diptyque," a study of the man in two movements (hence our title). We have "Shrine of a Coward" representing the sad, lonely man who admired Jeanne with no hope of ever realizing his dreams. After that, we have "Mechanical Mind," a celebration and recognition of Diego's inspired genius and hard work in making his robots.
This is a mix in mono. A later draft would be in stereo.

I know there are other good composers in this topic and others with good ears. I'm open to helpful criticisms and advice on the pacing, particularly the second movement.
EDIT - 5/28
New stuff. I've got something for Jonathan here:
Machinations of the Headmaster
Does anybody read this topic? ;_;
