Now that Annie's explained what happened immediately prior to her sudden appearance in Kat's workshop, Kat returns to the subject of Omega, confirming that Omega can do everything that the "Omega Device" has always done. Apparently she can see and hear everything that everyone says and does. Although I thought that wasn't the case anymore? But maybe it's still true to a limited degree.
I'd say she sees enough so that if you want to oppose her you should assume she sees everything in the physical world, just to be sure.
I know Annie is our beloved protagonist, but if she is in the right this time, it is due to sheer luck, or maybe plot armor. It isn't justified. We don't even have any reason to suspect that Omega is doing anything bad with her nerd collection - like mistreating them or anything. This may finally be a case where Annie's actions hurt more people than they help.
Is it kidnapping people to gather up people that work for the court, when you are a senior part of the court? Miss Omega has a lot more official role here than Annie or any of the Scooby gang does for sure. Let's not forget, she is acting on behalf of the court, to ensure their plans come to a successful conclusion.
I'm not sure that Tony or the others would even object to this, so long as their kids are not being harmed. She's probably just dropping them off in a conference room. Let's not forget - all three of them have been working for the court all of their adult lives! Longer even - they went to school there. Tony's big reason for coming back to the court was fear that the court would boot Annie from the program. I think it's safe to say that they are generally aligned with the court, or at least have been in the past.
If it turns out that she is overstepping her authority, that would be different, but right know we don't know that. We also don't know if she has harmed anyone, nor indeed if Zimmy is being harmed by what is going on. She hasn't even threatened Annie, or anyone else.
Anyway, I see your point but I'm not sure I believe it applies here. Summoning people to a meeting so they won't get sucked into teen drama is not the same as kidnapping.
