Sock report: If Omega bwipped outside, that's ANOTHER "tony outside with no shoes" counter. Also, do Annie and Tony share socks or are they just standard issue from the court.

I'm really skeptical about Omega's ability to watch Antimony. Even if not true or only somewhat true it may keep Antimony second-guessing herself in Omega's absence.

Have a chapter break, of course!

Phase one: Find Kat and hack the camera systems to locate this mega-annoying semi-omniscient brat Phase two: Find Zimmy Phase one: Find Parley and Smitty Phase four: Fix the timey-wimey wobbly ball of stuff we all got distorted in Phase five: Find Parley and Smitty
Teleport to the semi-omniscient brat with Zimmy in tow Zims punches her face, rain falls
Everything solved (may not solve everything)

Alternative:
Phase one: Call Kat, have Kat shut off life support for living tissue in Omega device. Phase two: Return to chair, sit back down.

I came here to make a comment about socks, but both silicondream and hoob beat me thoroughly to it.

The real blinker stone is the friends we kidnapped along the way.

Maybe I'm being overly critical but it seems like the instant she said she needed Tony to bwip around Annie or Tony should have reacted somehow. She didn't say much else but she said enough for there have been time to try to knock Tony out of her grip or.. SOMETHING.

Omega is clearly angling to be the new Number Two. Maybe I'm being overly critical but it seems like the instant she said she needed Tony to bwip around Annie or Tony should have reacted somehow. She didn't say much else but she said enough for there have been time to try to knock Tony out of her grip or.. SOMETHING. Thats why Omega shared her life story first. Increased emotional intimacy = Annie hesitating to put a laser through her brain.

I must either be a very harsh person, or just really entrenched as 3rd person omniscient because I feel zero sympathy for her. She chose to go as far as she did, even with Charles begging her to stop. It was her choice. And now she is trying to force an excruciating choice on Zimmy without so much as a by your leave because it benefits her, and some vague nebulous "others". Nah, no sympathy from me. A quick blast of targeting fire to the arm holding Tony is non-lethal.

Interesting. Meg just got through saying that Tony knows about secret, special places. And to no one's surprise, she now BWIPs out with him, presumably to one of those places... using his memory? I don't quite get how that works. I doubt that Tony is in the driving seat, so he's now just a hostage, and she can use him like a GPS device? Either way, this is going to make retrieving him (and Meg) tricky. Anyways, since people in the Distortion can make things happen by thinking about it, or remembering stuff, I think "Freefall" came up with a solution.

Then bwip.

Having established that she knows what Zimmy did, Omega says she'll be watching Annie and says farewell, kidnapping Tony with a BWIP that seems to warp space around it. Apparently there's still enough distortion here for Omega to travel (and for Omega to have a NP body), even though the Court is draining its energy for the star ocean.
With a "What the devil" from Renard and with Annie wondering what to do, it's the end of the chapter. Bonus page on Monday probably!
So ... where did Omega take Tony? Someplace she couldn't go without him, no doubt, as that was her stated intention. She had just said that she can think of "some people who are fine with the distortion as it is," as part of the sentence she was saying as she grabbed Tony's arm, which is why I think that's part of it. So ... someplace only Tony can take her, part of the Court that most people don't know about, where there are people who are fine with the distortion as it is.
Also, Omega said she'll be watching Annie, so that's probably another indication that she can see within the distortion – she found Robot, too. Perhaps that means she can still use her ability, but it doesn't extend outside the distortion area. Compared to the entire world (or even the entire universe), she's being bombarded with a relatively small amount of information, and that's why she can use her body at the same time. Her brain isn't nearly as overwhelmed.
Well ... what do Annie and Renard do next? In their place I'd see who was nearby – Don and Anja might be around and might want to know that Kat's OK. Their classmates might live near here too. And where are Smitty, Parley, Cvet, Eglamore, etc.? Where are the Foley students – the former fairies and Forest creatures who are in human bodies now? What about the Forest refugees Annie rescued after Loup threw the Forest at the Court? And I'm betting not all the tree people went to the Forest simulation. Where have Aata and Shell ended up? There are potentially a lot of people in a lot of places. Or will Annie just try to go back to Kat's lab? Also ... can she do that? The few times she actually got to where she wanted to go, Omega was there and presumably helped. Can Annie and Renard do that, working together?

It won't happen, but I want Monday's non-canon, bonus chapter page to reveal where Meg really wanted to go:
specifically, Meg on a beach chair on a secret, hidden Court-owned beach somewhere, looking like the swimsuit centerfold for Mad Scientists Monthly. (* with a tropical drink, but still evil),
while Tony just stands there, looking like his usual wooden self.
