A path to redemption is offered. What will Robot's response be? And is this path open to the Seraphs as well?

Really hope that's not a "let's kill him" look those seraphs are giving each other.

Those Seraphs have their poker faces on.
Can't wait for the biology and zoology nerds here to check out if there are any interesting details in the first two panels.

If the meat's edible they'd be worth a fortune at a major market. They may be too big to cook conventionally but once cleaned you could cut them horizontally into steaks to maximize tenderness. I'm guessing they'd taste like scallop or calamari with New Car Smell counter-balanced by rich distilled guilt and a hint of hubris. For steaks I'm thinking a light touch of Old Bay, rocksalt, lemon and butter. If not, then Red Boat sauce. If all else fails there's always the possibility of sashimi as long as you've got a sharp knife.

Whether Robot follows though with that, will tell if he had true regret, or was self flagellating due to ego. Hopefully, the other seraphs are thinking of apologizing to Kat. Still curious about Robot's "special" CPU. I was hoping Zimmyverse could supply some clues.

But for Shadow's sake, I want him to be better. Bit nervous about those seraphs in the last panel. What are they thinking?

Blame Mr. Siddell, his comic's been making me think about seafood for weeks. I'm just spreading the misery around a little.

Seraph 1: They... they DO know that's just his CPU, right? Seraph 2: And it can't hear anything without the proper hardware. They oughta. Seraph 3: Dudes, I... I think they don't.

What are they thinking? From their POV, Kat *explicitly* told them (nameless nobodies) that she never wants to see them again. Meanwhile, the golden child here might get a pass for saying sorry? Imagine going to hell after giving in to the devil's temptation, the devil visits God, and next thing you see him packing up and practicing his arpeggios. You'd lose it. (Not an entirely accurate allegory because Kat's foreknowledge is limited)But maybe Kat would change her ruling after Robot's confession...if it goes well.

This is probably what they are thinking, though they seem to have a blind spot towards how their own actions have landed them here. Their antics go back much farther than the Torn Sea.

Yeah, hopefully the knowledge that they were following Robot's lead earns them some leniency.

New Person into the Ether that believed in Kat the Angel. The boot is dropping, we're waiting for impact so Robot will be shown the consequences of his actions and given examples to show that yeah he's working to atone. It stopped being something he could just say sorry for and stop.

I think as far as the seraphs redeeming themselves it really is as simple as saying "We're really sorry" to Kat. I know she said she never wanted to see them again but she's also a dumb teenager and saying "I never want to see you again" doesn't necessarily translate into eternity for someone who hasn't even fully matured in their emotional state. Teens say that all the time to their friends and then go back to laughing with them a few weeks later. Knowing Kat and her, uh, understated reaction to hearing certain serious things (I'm still eyerolling over her getting lulzy with her girlfriend upon hearing she might KILL SOMEONE in the future) it's quite possible she doesn't even remember she told them such an absolute statement and will go "Oh yeah, I forgot all about that, of course you're welcome back!"
Whether they realize it's going to be as simple as all that remains to be seen. I'm a bit afraid of how ominous they look in the last panel there. Birds EAT worms after all.

Catching up with Friday's page ... So after picking up Robot's CPU critter, Shadow continues his intervention, telling Robot he's going to have to make amends for his actions, telling everyone what he did, asking for forgiveness, the whole nine yards, but Shadow's not breaking up with him so he'll be there for Robot the whole time. Annie puts a sympathetic hand on Shadow's shoulder. And in the final panel, the Seraphs are looking at each other in a rare moment of self-reflection. Seriously, those guys.
