Gunnerkrigg x Friends

Hi, I’ve been following the series for a while, and I’ve decided to join in the forums.

I wanna provide something unique, so I’m making a little something for each page of Gunnerkrigg Court starting with this:



Since Annie and Kat were supposed to be staying in the Friends-styled dorms when stuff hit the fan, I decided to think up a Friends quote for each page starting with this one.

And here’s the first quote, appropriately from the very first episode of the show:

Welcome to the real world! It sucks. You’re gonna love it!

I won’t do this every day, since it’ll require some research, but I hope I can make you smile when you see it.

Of course, I dedicate this to the late Matthew Perry. It’s a shame what happened to him.

Phoebe: That is the nicest kitchen!
Monica: Yeah, I know.
Phoebe: No, but it's the nicest kitchen. The refrigerator told me to have a great day.

I have no idea what's going on, but I am excited.

If you can (and wanted to), you should edit the page and include de quotes directly in the talk baloons.

That would enhance the fun I'm already having!

Well, thanks. I probably won’t do that, because it’s already hard enough to find the applicable quotes as is.

Joey: Well, you wouldn't let me in, so I thought you were in trouble.
Chandler: Well, we're not.
Joey: But you called me “Bert”!? That's our code word for danger!
Chandler: We don't have a code word.
Joey: We don't? We really should. From now on, “Bert” will be our code word for danger.
