I'm guessing Lana is here somewhere, because rather than dying she became part of Coyote in some weird, probably not permanent way. Might just be wishful thinking though haha

Ghost level, now Desert level. Annie is just playing Mario with a constant fire flower. Yes, a bit of sense: all the personalities have their own level, so I suppose now Annie is going for the Ysengrin level for help in her quest, looking for the kidnapped princess eaten NP girl. I just hope after the fight with some boss, there is no Shadow saying "Thank you, Annie, but Lana is in another castle!"

Says you, Red. Though, we seemingly are where Coyote first "manifested".

After the first New People ran toward the lightened area at the end of the previous page, it appears that the rest of them followed suit (and that they weren't immediately disintegrated or something), because Annie (and presumably Renard) runs into the frame from a white light and into a sunlit Badlands-like area to find fourteen New People looking around. The sun in the sky is effulgent with rays and arcs of light. Annie looks at the sky and says "Coyote" for some reason – perhaps the arcs and points of light around the sun remind her of Coyote's patterns. Indeed, this entire scenario is very reminiscent of the cover and first pages of the "Coyote!" extra comic – but also of other tableaus that have been linked with Coyote in the past.
Annie then has a suspicious expression and says that this is all starting to make sense, perhaps having an insight that we don't. Renard questions this, but perhaps Annie's about to explain. Or maybe she'll be interrupted. Or maybe she'll say, "No, I ... understand." Regardless, we'll have to wait until Monday for what happens next.
Then there's speculation about what Annie means. First of all, what exactly is starting to make sense? Does she mean the existence of multiple different scenarios within this distortion? Because I can guess that different parts of it are related to the different people/entities involved in it; we were seeing a Zimmy-ish area and now we're seeing a Coyote-ish one. Or is she talking about (as she mentioned earlier) how distortions usuallly change the people within them, but in this case it seems to have changed everything but the people? Or does she mean something else?
What exactly about transitioning from Zimmingham to Coyote Gulch has made anything clearer to Annie? I suppose the simple fact that they moved from a Zimmy-dominated area to a Coyote-dominated one might be telling her something, but I hope it's more than "there are different areas in this distortion." That seems fairly obvious. There may be a Loup-dominated area as well, and maybe even a Gamma-dominated area. The Zimmingham area seems to indicate that Zimmy's having a crisis of some sort, but why is there a Coyote distortion here? Is he having a crisis too? Because in a way he is: he's got a plan that the entity he gave his power to isn't following. I'm still guessing that this Coyote's just an extension of Loup's power, as Coyote made himself part of Loup. One might say that Coyote's appearance is really just Loup having an identity crisis, but Ysengrin's fury is preventing him from seeing this – but that's just an identity crisis too. Loup said himself that he was Neither, a new being. Is Loup going to finally realize that?
There's always the possibility, of course, that Annie is wrong, and her realization (whatever it is) is incorrect. After all, right on this page Renard questions it before she even says what it is.

maybe even a Gamma-dominated area That might actually be scarier than the Zimmy Zone.

My theory is that there will not be a loup area, but there may be a Yesngrin one, because this distortion us breaking things into their components.

maybe even a Gamma-dominated area That might actually be scarier than the Zimmy Zone. When we find out the reason Gamma stays awake as long as possible is because she not only helps keeps Zimmy sane but when she sleeps she gets Zimmy's nightmares she would have if she could sleep

Says you, Red. Though, we seemingly are where Coyote first "manifested". If Coyote's still aiming for True Death No Really I Mean It This Time, maybe a journey back to his birth is a necessary part of the process?
