This is the biggest “Uh oh” moment in a while, and that’s saying something.

Here's hoping it's just a 'nah that ain't us' from Zimmy and they direct him towards Kat's workshop. That would be the best possible outcome from a not-causing-catastrophic-etheric-events standpoint.
Although it also might just be delaying that by a page or three.

Zimmy was scared that Kat was going to kill her, but we all knew that wouldn't be directly as Kat would never do that. Is this how it happens? By Coyote mistaking Zimmy for Kat?

Damnit. I should have seen that coming. But honestly had forgotten about Zimmy.

By the way, it should be pointed out that, while Kat knows the Loup formerly known as Jerrek, she has yet to see and meet Coyote face to face. ...And this still applies.

This smells badly of various plotlines being dropped. Tom fast forwarding to the end of the comic?

Unless Coyote turns round and reveals that he sees that Zimmy is an avatar of Kali. The ultimate destruction kind.

it is, however, completely amazing to see Coyote totally fumble two bags in quick succession

This whole chapter is like a snowball that rolls off a high mountain and with every new page it's getting bigger! It's scary to think what the impact will be and I have a feeling that it's not gonna end well.

Why complain on every single page release and keep reading the comic? hopefully Gamma is safe it is, however, completely amazing to see Coyote totally fumble two bags in quick succession They are probably still high on the post-death awakening stupor.

No. Coyote attacks Zimmy but gets pulled into Zimmyngham when Gamma gets in the middle and gets hurt/killed. Oof. If Gamma is hurt or killed, or even seriously threatened, Coyote may find he has bitten off far more than he can chew. Zimms has repeatedly shown extreme protectiveness about Gamma, and appreciation to those who help her. If this happens, Coyote should recall Maxim 65: After the toss, be the one with the pin, not the one with the grenade.
However, I do seem to recall Zimmy saying "I'll die in here one day" referring to Zimmingham. She is one of my favorite characters, so I hope that doesn't turn out to be true.

Zimmy has also said that Kat will kill her so welp. Something will force kats hand is my guess. And coyote may be that

Annie won't kill unless she is protecting people. Coyote is acting like he has lost it - first he claimed to be mistaken (about the relationship stuff), then he crunched Lana, and now he is about to confront Zimmy. I feel like this is all steering Annie into a corner, where she has to use Coyote's own tooth to stop Coyote, fulfilling his plan. I don't think we're off-plan as much as it appears. Still looking forward very much to the next developments!

I really want this to be a "These are not the droid-making girls you're looking for" moment.
But I'm not sure Coyote has any way of knowing that, especially if this is Coyote Echo.
I mean, you'd think a god would know, but he didn't know that Annie and Jerrek weren't dating either. The chapter title is looking really ironic right now.

hopefully Gamma is safe it is, however, completely amazing to see Coyote totally fumble two bags in quick succession Oh gods, I just had a terrible idea. Coyote kills Gamma. Zimmy is now forced to live without the person that actually keeps her sane and stops her powers from manifesting in the real world, which includes manifesting her feelings. Feelings that includes the sadness of having the one she loves the most be dead. This etheric generation will either be harvested by the court or threaten existence to the degree that Kat must intervene and Zimmy dies. Either that or seeing what the court does to Zimmy will cause her to commit a mercy kill. Gamma is one of the few characters in this comic I don't think anyone dislikes.

After deciding that the place of darkness he senses must be the home of this new god he's learned of, Coyote speeds toward the dark glow on the horizon. Landing on top of a building, he says, "I found you!" But rather than finding Kat, he's found Zimmy and Gamma, who look up at him in surprise and confusion.
What exactly happens now is anybody's guess. Coyote and Zimmy have never directly interacted. Zimmy's given us some evidence that she can sometimes see what Loup is doing or even thinking, but that's not really interaction, and even this never happened with Coyote, before Loup existed. Jones says that Zimmy experiences the Ether similarly to Coyote but in a way that puts a great deal of stress on her psyche, but that doesn't really tell us much, other than they both exist more in the Ether than in the material world. It doesn't really say that Zimmy and Coyote are equally powerful, either; a candle and a bonfire are similar in nature but different in degree. Also, we still don't know whether this is really Coyote or just an echo as before; if he's truly dead, the power once possessed by the real Coyote is still part of Loup, and this is just a part of it that's acting on its own.
We're still not seeing what Jerrek/Loup, Annie, and Renard are doing. Of course, all of this Coyote action might have taken place in a fraction of a second. There may not have been time for them to do much yet. But he's stopping to speak to Zimmy and Gamma, so time could be back to flowing normally now.
What do Zimmy and Coyote see, when they look at each other? I wonder if we'll find out.

I know she already predicted it would happen, but if Zimmy really dies I am going to be devastated. I do feel like there's a theoretical chance she's more powerful than coyote, or at least even, and that this won't be fun for him.

If they sort it out, what Coyote will hear is that Zimmy isn’t going anywhere near Kat, no way, no how.

What if Zimmy just says, "There ya are, Lana" and turns Coyote inside out. Not likely, but could you imagine the look on his face.
