"Hope your reflexes are faster than a god that can stop time" There’s also that. Then you remember that not so long ago Kat was messing with time in a very hands-on way… Which boils down to the same: it’s either quite silly or quite clever.

In panel 6, Annie corrects herself, addressing Loup as Jerrek. This seems a tacit admission that the Jerrek persona is part of Loup's change of heart. Of course, the goose story is Coyote's warning that it's what's underneath it all that matters. (Not that Coyote said that out loud, but Annie should be used to his puzzles by now.)

"Hope your reflexes are faster than a god that can stop time" Well, we don't know how long it takes him to stop time. Loup hasn't shown particularly amazing reflexes himself so far. Still, I hope Robot's lurking nearby with a second device wired directly to his CPU. And Renard should probably just hang onto the Tooth next time. I wonder if he could use it as one of his own?

Kinda late with this question, but it's been bugging me ever since the page came out:
Perhaps I missed something; how exactly does Kat track people? If she's using the Court's "food bugs" system, wouldn't it fail to work on non-students? If she tracks all New Person bodies as soon as they're created, can't Loup's shapeshifting abilities neutralize that in Jerrek's body? Is this some new scary Goddess power she hasn't explained yet?

Antimony mentioned emissions when talking to Kat about making a tracker, the one that they used to locate the arrow. From the following mention of Diego's notes I assume she means etheric emissions, magic stuff, but not necessarily and in practice the effect of the "emissions" may be something that muggle machines can measure. I figure conventional machines probably do the bulk of the actual work.
