Actually, Kat has another option, and it's a change from flowers. Kevin and Kell's Bill Holbrook once wrote a song for his daughter to perform. I can see Kat doing it (with Annie joining in on the chorus!). Here it is: |

Off topic, but "Miss Angel" reminds me of Miss Angle, a teacher that I had in my youth. She happened to be a geometry teacher.

Jerrek/Loup continues his thought from the previous page, adding that while it's only right for him to bring them to the surface since he buried them in the first place, only Kat can bring them back to life, calling her the Angel. Annie and Kat's reactions to this are seemingly astonishment.
Then, asked by one of the New People who have run out to examine the emerging robots whether these are all of them, Kat turns her eyes black for a moment, then replies that yes, this is in fact all of them. She must have done some kind of scan or something and learned that there are no more robots buried under the soil anywhere.
Tom's note, "The rest of the robots," may well be a reference to the title of a book by Isaac Asimov.

Well… so far Kat was able to ignore it all or at least laugh off as “cute excesses” of robots. Except when the Seraphs decided to act up, but the first time she awed them, and the second time sort of banished, and then “out of sigh, out of mind”. Now Jerrek explicitly says it’s her turn to shine, that’s something she cannot dodge just like that. |

"I can see"...but how? Are the robots still connected to the Court? Are there cameras around? The Faustian Techno Eyes simply see all robots? Or simply processing her own visual inputs?

Still wondering if Annie is going to turn to Jeroup and be like "This is great and all but I still don't trust you. To prove you've really changed, can you recreate Reynard's body?" Sure, that's a tad manipulative but might as well see if he's really willing to do something actually selfless instead of just trying to balance out the scales here.
