And the court reacted positively to this revelation, were just so happy for the couple and did not attempt to capture and punish Jerrek and Lana at all!
Is definitely a thing that will not happen.

What could go wrong? Actually, is there any way this could go well?

I'm sure the amends will go off swimmingly. [bombastic side-eye]

I doubt they would try to punish Lana but they miiiiiiight just recalibrate the star ocean to Loup. Of course, it's still kinda difficult to convince Loup to go the star ocean so that he can get siphoned, now that he knows their plan, has zero intention to die, can magically spy other people's conversations from afar and can create copies of himself. ...I just realized it's pretty much impossible for Loup to die unless he specifically decides he wants to do so.

Well that will make it easier for Annie to stab him in a fit of rage for what they did to Rey's body

This could lead to an interesting conversation with Rey. He's looked to make amends in the past, and has dealt with the reality, that you can't always find it.

Making amends huh... Well, he does have godlike powers so he could make Renard a new body i guess. AND fix the whole dirt-wood flood he made.
...If he's being honest of course!
I hope Loup doesn't start to think that his "disguise" has gone too far. This couple looks too darn cute~

Jerrek/Loup is talking about how maybe going to Kat to console her will cheer her up. And maybe revealing Robot as a traitor will cheer her up??? I don't see how that would cheer anyone up, but sure.
He then goes on to say that he can begin to make amends for what he's done. Love has really changed him. He seems fully aware that he's Loup and has caused a lot of destruction. And he has. He destroyed large portions of the Court, he's the one who caused the robots' shield protocol to activate (though he didn't install it in them), he evicted the tree people from their homes, he basically destroyed the entire Forest, and he may have killed a large portion of the Forest's creatures in doing so – the ones who survived lost their homes too. He's the reason why the New People have to search for and dig up buried robots. This is not even counting throwing Jones into space (she was fine, though), splitting Annie in half (she was fine too), and almost killing Shell (she was also fine). Oh, and destroying Renard's original body. Am I leaving anything out? Probably.
Lana asks him whether he plans to reveal himself, and he says yes, so he and Lana can be together without having to hide or lie. Wow, that sounds wonderful, being able to openly display your identity and love whom you want; it reminds me of SOMETHING. I doubt very strongly that it'll work out well in this case, however, considering that identity is known to all as a malevolent destructive god.
Lana loves the idea of being in the open about their relationship and enthusiastically embraces Jerrek. Then there are two narrow establishing frames, indicating that this is the end of this scene. Next page: somewhere with tan buildings instead of purple ones.

It's not like a hormonal teenager would totally be up for dying to protect their new love, right? I was thinking about this possibility, but... It seems kinda far-fetched that Coyote would see into the future, find out that a robot would turn into a cute nice girl, Loup would pretend to be an ex-robot, the two would fall in love, and then Loup's ex-robot girlfriend would a) die and he'd want to follow her into the ether or b) be in danger and he'd sacrifice himself for her. I mean, it's totally within Coyote's abilities that he'd foresee all that, but they're kinda too specific. I have the feeling that whatever he's planned is more... I don't know... fundamental than that. Something about the nature of the world and humanity. Whatever the game Court plays with the world, Lana seems more like a minor piece (e.g. in contrast to Kat and Zimmy). I dunno.

Alright, while this definitely won't go well, this is kind of an awwwww moment for me. Lana really has been good for Loup if he's reached the point of character development to understand he needs to apologize and make amends for his previous actions.

Probably a different subset of his previous actions than Kat or Annie would consider requiring apologies and amends. Still, a big step up.

Jerrek doesn't think of himself as being like the dead goose, because he has access to Loup's memories. But just having access to the memories doesn't necessarily mean there's no division of personality. We've seen it, in fact: www.gunnerkrigg.com/?p=2673I'm guessing the main, rageful personality is still in there. I wonder if Annie will need to kill Loup so that Jerrek can live.

Next page: "Hello! Zuko Loup here." I thought about making an edit using that image, but ideally it would have Jerrek's face pasted over Zuko's, and I don't have that kind of skills. hint hint to anyone who does

I dunno, I've been changed pretty profoundly by some of my relationships, and I'm not even an etheric child roleplaying an adolescent. Why shouldn't Loup be influenced by Lana? Annie had a huge impact on Renard and Ysengrin both.
