Huh? Those panels of them visiting the Shrine? Literal birthing imagery would be showing a baby crowning. Even dropping the word "literal", that seems over-interpretation to me. For a birth allusion to be intentional, it would somehow need to connect up with some sort of theme of them returning to a fetal state. I don't see that that really jibes with the story at that point. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar, and sometimes a door is just a door. |

My first thought on seeing Kat's pose is that it resembles depictions of Christ after his body was taken down from the cross. Which, if that's intentional, is... an exaggeration, to say the least... but not one that I'd put past the (former) robots.

Or there may be some sort of information network linking at least some of the robots. Possibly a network that runs on some combination of technology and magic. An EtherNet, if you will. |

There's something going on with Kat's right hand. You can see the picture was made by AI, they never get the hands right. Actually, it would be in keeping with Tom's sense of humour to do just that (ie emulate Dall-E). |

Shadow will have to make a decision like Paz Oof, I can definitely see that happening, and if Shadow decides to break away from Robot and the cult, will Robot let them leave as easily as Paz did? |

And then it says that the news has reached even those "hidden away." What that means we'll probably find out next time, but could it mean the robots still buried? I assumed it was the seraph-types, who'd been told by Kat she never wanted to see them again. I'll be very curious if there's others who it would refer to, who've kept out of human sight or are hiding from the rest of the robots. |
