So I've recently put down a very very long summation of when Zimmy and Gamma pop up in plots.
And it's always been in chapters where set up for Mecha Kat or the Star Ocean plots were being built. We just didn't know it at the time.
So I'm just going to put this thread up if someone wants to talk about this.
Because seriously - I think Mecha Kat - Omega and the Star Ocean may all be part of one of the oldest threads in this story because Robot and Shadow happened in Chapter 1. Which sets up Annie nearly dying. Also Tic Toc.

Chapter 2 Introduction to Kat. Side introductions of Annie's parents, classmates. Also Mrs. Donlan is introduced.
Chapter 3 Introduction to Reynard.
Chapter 4 Introduction to Mort - Which is the Medium/psychopomp thread introduction. Also Paz is focused on in the end of the chapter.
Chapter 5 Zimmy and Gamma Introduction - Zimmy knows stuff, Reynard is in the toy, oh and the start of Mecha Kat foreshadowing.
Chapter 7 - Annie nearly dies.
Given the speculation that Omega is the Kat that lost Annie and how long the Court has been working on the Star Ocean thing...
Yeah, this is actually a kinda import plot line that has been squirming underfoot the entire time. Especially with the Court's reticence with Forest Dwellers (oh look Chester isolation has been a thing for how long in this comic? Surma and Mrs.Donlan were both originally Chester) and Jeanne's entire thing is basically that fear in the past. And the reveal is that the fear and anger never left.
