Paz should probably stay and take care of Kat's body while Annie gets talked through the tech stuff so as not to leave Kat defenceless, but will common sense prevail? Edit: Since Kat moved her computer during the time-skip, we've had absolutely no hint as to where. Perhaps this will shed light on where Anja put hers too.

Feels like it might get quite tricky for Annie and Paz to privately inform anyone of their concerns, seeing as Kat could ostensibly tap into any camera or audio-receiving device at will, and will undoubtedly improve her reach on a steep curve. At least the ether is safe

Tom's note is just twisting the knife. Tony had a fairly modern looking PC for his weather spreadsheets. Kat's just an incurable retro gaming nerd.

I guess next comic we'll find out if Kat can teleport them to the entrance to the dungeon secret base or if the first part of the quest will be travel to and searching for the secret door. Here's hoping Kat just happens to have a small drone with fairy wings that she can use to accompany them and help them Navigate the trials and traps.

The sheer amount of devices Kat is materializing is of Orwellian proportions, but she is probably just optimizing sound and video quality. She might even write a small script to do that automatically.

Tom's note is just twisting the knife. You know you are old when you have not even thought about this because you immediately recognized it and didn't find it strange to see it or find it outdated at all

So… uh… did they check whether she is breathing and whether she is bleeding, or just got distracted by disembodied voice and that’s that? Tom's note is just twisting the knife. And pointing at an indirect pun.

This is where they go to the computer and see a etheric monstrosity and in Kat's vision it's just a Nvidia 4090 graphics card attached to a 3d printer

Also people still thinking Kat isn't materializing things? Why would she have a old school desktop computer in her workshop when she has a magic computer

Guess: Kat is subconsciously manifesting basic tech at the moment, possibly because it's the stuff she grew up with. And it's a good visual metaphor for a tech goddess at the start of her powers.
As she gets more used to it and more intentional, the tech manifested will be much more complex/magitech and much MUCH weirder.
I imagine we'll get an end-of-AKIRA scene at some point when her reach exceed her grasp.

Kat isn't sounding less manic right now, let's say. This is very much "I took a lil too much <<SUBSTANCE>> and accidentally parked the car upside down and now somebodies more capable need to deal with that but they'll probably feel less hurt if I don't reveal how happy I am right now...wait, which part of that did I say out loud?" territory.

And now it is time for the amazing adventure of looking for the solution to their problem on the internet. They'll have to explore the deepest and the most ancient parts of the internet forums for that one guy who had the exact same problem and got it solved in 2004! A tale about how truly fascinating and wondrous global network really is...

Why would she have a old school desktop computer in her workshop when she has a magic computer Because she runs some old games and emulated ancient sound cards are just not the same? Or because it’s compatible with some Court equipment relevant to her other interests.

Gee, I wonder what Kats main computer looks like. Given the tic tocs, I have my suspicion.

From the fourth panel, I sort of expected the fifth panel to show one of them nudging her with their foot.

Kat does seem to be materializing things, by my read. This page has her remark she can't see or hear and struggle to find a mic amidst clicks and beeps, and a speaker suddenly appears in the panel. The current page similarly has Kat speaking randomly through various unmatching objects, and yet another appearance of a random speaker in the middle of her lab. I guess it wouldn't be weird if Kat kept speakers around her lab to listen to music while she worked, but the jumpy way Tom is having her use a new object each panel definitely reads as an intentional method of making Kat seem to be everywhere and nowhere.

I thought she had hidden her computer in some unreachable dimension. But apparently there is still a physical reset button somewhere?

Tom's note is just twisting the knife. Is it bad that my first thought was, "Why is she still using a CRT monitor?"

I was a very late adapter to flatscreens. I had a nice desk where using a flatscreen just wouldn't have gained me any space, and picked up at a bargain price one of the later crt monitors who's screen was technically flat; it was big enough for the time...and it had a manual degauss, come to think of it. There were flatscreens in three other places in the house before I finally got one for my desktop. Wouldn't it be funny if after they quest for Kat's secret base, defeat all the challenges, and hit the reset button they find out that they could have gotten Kat moving again much faster/easier by just taking the chip out, after which Kat could have restarted her computer remotely? ...And then Kat says, "Well yeah, but then the chip would've had to have come out! Duh."

After stating that she seems to have locked herself out of her own body, Kat's voice claims that everything's working as expected, aside from that. Annie's attitude is basically, "Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how did you enjoy the play?" But speaking from various equipment in the room, Kat continues that she can access all kinds of electronics, but needs her computer to be restarted in order to get back into her body. Annie and Paz pause, waiting for Kat to restart it, and Annie finally prods for a response. Not having understood why they were waiting, Kat adds that her computer can only be restarted in person, so they'll have to go do that. Annie and Paz look at each other in surprise.
So I gather that Kat will have to tell them where it is and how to get to it. I wonder if she has security measures that she's forgotten about (after all, she never has to visit it, and even when she does, her security devices let her through just fine) that will trip them up on the way and will require Kat to activate, say, a bunch of dormant robot bodies without CPUs to help them out.

They'll have to explore the deepest and the most ancient parts of the internet forums for that one guy who had the exact same problem and got it solved in 2004! A tale about how truly fascinating and wondrous global network really is... It turns out the thread has exactly three answers, one with "Learn to use the search function, n00b!", one with a pixelated unfunny picture with a caption about "using Google instead of asking dumb questions", and finally an answer by the original poster: "Nvm, I fixed it, thread can be locked."
Gee, I wonder what Kats main computer looks like. Given the tic tocs, I have my suspicion. Last time we saw it, it looked mostly clunky.
Also people still thinking Kat isn't materializing things? Why would she have a old school desktop computer in her workshop when she has a magic computer Why would she materialize an old school desktop computer with a CRT monitor when she could make much more sophisticated equipment? I agree that the way the separate devices are shown one by one makes it look somewhat as if they hadn't been there before, but I see neither the matter transference special effect so far always shown when Kat used her computer to get something out of storage, nor do Annie and Paz react in any way like one would expect them to when objects were keeping on appearing around them.

My guess is Zimmy "is killed" when they "restart" the "computer".
As in: Zimmy is interconnected with Omega in such a way that restarting it nullifies her existence.
Maybe Gamma is Omega and restarting causes her to "fall unconcious" and Zimmy loses control completely.
Or maybe Zimmy and Omega are just straight up the same thing.
I dunno. I just got a feeling.
Sorry if baseless speculation like this ain't cool, I rarely come to the forums.
