I'm sure I've seen other references, but damned if I'm not blanking all of a sudden.

Shadow2 shows up on this page (Link removed - Admin) of the sadly discontinued Kir-Sia. Our very own Riess is the artist for the comic. The Gunnerkrigg link banner shows up as an advertisement on this page of Crimson Dark.

I don't read it but I think the guy in ... Over Compensating? Wigu? Not sure what that actual comic is called but the character had a cut on his face like Annie's. Someone here linked to it and pointed it out.

It's not a webcomic but I made an Antimony reference on an Art project at school. We had to make a superhero out of an element from the Periodic Table... I actually made three, Meitnerium (the youngest), Molybdenum (Middle Child) And Vanadium (Oldest), and Moly was Annie's PenPal. Heh, I'm glad my Cartooning teacher doesn't know about Gunnerkrigg Court..... Maybe when It's all done I'll upload the comic. <3

Surprised this hasn't been found. It was noticed by several at the time though. There's also this which is how I found GC.

It was in overcompensating, his Kerry Edwards character had the Annie-cut on his face. I'm pretty sure that's just a scar on his face.

Jeph does read GC. Simulatenous links from his comic and from Diesel Sweeties overwhelmed the server a few months ago.

A Gunnerkrigg ref and a Sir Terry Pratchett one ('Millennium hand and shrimp') in the same page, good work.

The Outsider fanart is mine. I did Parley as a Loroi on another fanart at the same time as I did the space-elf Antimony. Here it is: www.well-of-souls.com/gallery/images/display.htm?deepchrome_assortedloroi2.jpgMuch to my surprise, not only did Loroi Antimony wind up in that scene, the purple-haired Loroi next to her was based off my pass at Space Elf Parley I don't usually brag, but I was honored to have something of my work included in a webcomic. Maybe someday I will draw space-elf Kat!

Hey all! I did a small GC reference in the last panel of my comic today (which is about my love of comics). Can you spot Coyote? Can you spot all the other refs? I Love Comics on The Glass Urchin

Do I spot Maus, Tintin (Milou/Snowy) and Owly?
Edit: Ah, there was a list further down on the page.

Auilix, I read your comic, and then ended up reading the entire archives! I love it! And that's coming from a particularly picky person when it comes to web comics.

I am always surprised when people I dont know say they enjoy it - since I don't feel it fits well with other webcomic categories (not always laugh out loud humor, not fantasy or epic).

Well I found it really funny, since I have had to deal with a lot of the situations you talk about in the comic (People calling you a Virgo, stupid brats starring at you forever) plus just the fact that the main characters are portrayed as pint-sized animals acting like normal human beings gives it a very unique flavour. Good luck continuing the comic!

Okay, this totally not an intentional GC reference, but i was looking up the Rubik's Cube champions (for work, i work at a toy company), and check out this page!...specifically this article here. I thought it was funny. A long lost cousin of the school is world champion! *edit * sorry for the broken links... should work now?

Auilix, use [ url ] and [ /url ] (without the spaces, obviously) to create links like this one www.worldcubeassociation.org/node/538 in the forums. [ url=insert address here ] "insert word here" [ /url ] for links like this. Thanks for the links, by the way

Today Katie Tiedrich surprised me with this. BAPThats the way I found out about Gunnerkrigg Court! The powers of refrences... We should have a thread about how each of us found Gunnerkrigg Court. I'd start it myself but I'm ashamed to admit that I can't remember I'm pretty sure it was via Questionable Content, but I couldn't find any link.

Of course I should have realized that there would already be such a thread. Now I'll mumble an excuse about being a relative newcomer to the forum... and then find that I've already read that thread and even posted on it. Thanks for the link, though.
