Anyone else notice how Jerrek's face changes from panel one to panel five? Much more canine (note his ears) in the final panel. Lana, in her best southern (US) accent: "Jerrek, you animal!"
I, along with some others, wondered before today's panel if Jerrek and Lana had made love (I am rabbit, after all). But I don't know that this is so much Tom having a bit of fun with us as it is an illustration of how new their current states of being are to these two characters. They are at the beginning of discovering who and what they are now, perhaps?

Random thought: How would Loup have reacted if one his plans to make Annie like him had worked? Would it look similar to the current situation, or no?
I have a feeling he would have reacted quite differently. Maybe he would have viewed it as "winning" somehow, or assumed he owned her? I suppose I'm thinking that Lana coming in from left field led him to a much better outcome than any he could have gotten with his evil schemes. He had so much built up in his head that nothing Annie did could have possibly lived up to it.
Also, he had to know deep down that it could never have worked - Annie has made her feelings about Loup very clear... so even if she had discovered some attraction inside herself, he simply would not have been able to trust it. Will he do better with Lana? Don't know...
