A robotic fingerprint? Robot makes his move? Also now updating an hour early for us in Europe the next week I guess, until the US changes to winter time as well.

The thumbnail shows two shadowy figures walking along what seems to be a corridor in a Court building to me. One appears to be at least one head taller than the other. Thoughts who it could be?

Zimmy and Gamma, looks like. The taller one has light brown hair. (actually, that may be me seeing things - blowing it up looks somewhat grey. Still my guess, though the body shape isn't quite right. Could be Robot and Shadow)

The one in the right seems to have long hair. Could be Annie, and the height difference is just an impression caused by the art style? Or Gamma let her hair grow? Who knows.

New chapter title: "Reconfiguration" – what can be reconfigured? For one thing, assuming they've gotten all the robot CPUs out of the ground, the former Forest land could be reconfigured into something else, preferably some sort of forest for the Forest creatures to live in, if you ask me. Kat's technology might be able to change all that proto-Seed-Bismuth matter into whatever she wants. For another thing, if the Court's going to be leaving for another planet, it leaves behind a power vacuum, and the people left behind are going to have to reconfigure their lives, either leaving for the outside world or reorganizing to be able to live in the Court's old stomping grounds. That's what I can think of for now.
Chapter title image: Looks like some kind of Zen garden, with these concentric figures drawn in sand, like ripples in water, except for the square-shaped one.
Chapter icon: It looks like two silhouetted figures in the distance, standing in a corridor, their shadows streaming out in one direction (possibly behind them as they look toward the light source).

No one thinks we're simply staying with Jerrek / Loup and Lana? I think the reconfiguration is something that will affect Loup, the Jerrek personality bleeding into him and his relationship with Lana getting off on more honest (if somewhat dysfunctional) grounds.
If we still believe Coyote knew what he was doing, Annie is going to have to kill him sometime soon. Things are going to get extra hairy.

Based on Jerrek's appearance at the end of last chapter, I'd say things have already gotten extra hairy. *rimshot*

More than one reconfiguration will occur, almost certainly. So many possibilities!

With the chapter break I feel that we will be switching focus to some other characters for a bit, rather than having that big gap and then coming back in with the same scene/guys. With the title Reconfiguration, which sounds like a robotic term, and image I am thinking something with Robot, but that's just a guess. we already know that Robot knows about Loup, this could be another reconfiguration or changing of his plans in light of the new events.

That would make a lot of sense, so I think chances of the humans going for this are very slim. By the way, I'm not sure, was it ever said if the whole Forest was turned into this wood-tsunami? Is there something left? If yes, is it still falling apart, or frozen in time? Or did the whole Forest just explode back then?

Tom seems to have been pretty careful about not letting us see a panoramic view toward where the Forest used to be, but with quotes like "Loup ... let go of the Forest" and "Loup's Gone!" "We can't feel his presence anywhere!" it seems like Loup released the whole thing. That seems unlikely to allow any parts of the Forest left frozen in time. My impression, at least, was that Loup just grabbed the Forest and threw it at the Court. I do wonder what it looks like if we look over in that direction. More star ocean? Big black void? Or a big plain of dirt? Maybe a huge writhing mass of shadow people?

Well if the forest is to be reconfigured, I'd guess it will include what remains of the court. Remember, it's all made of the same stuff! Bismuthium or whatever... Trees, dirt, buildings, windows, etc. Maybe we'll end up with a more eco-friendly court, with trees and buildings mingled together. Peace and love, man!

If the whole Forest is gone, what about all the creatures that used to live there? What about those which are dependent on an actual forest to survive? And all the violent ones? If that had really happened, shouldn't there be chaos reigning?
