Strong "Sonic OC chatting with Sonic" vibes from this page

So how would Loup respond if say Tommy Wiseau called him chicken?

Rey's point being: the wasteland was created *when* the Court tried to trick him (and the shade of Coyote had a word)
Nothing since.

He needs to put some dark blue about, to accent the earth brown. If the chapter ended, with Rey and Loup arguing over color samples, I'd be oddly pleased.

You know people go on existing even when you're not watching them Rey. Also, regardless of how you feel about him, Loup has done more then just about any character aside from Annie, he has litterally changed the entire dynamic of the Court, twice, and one of those was directly after being tricked. Rey is probably just trying to prick at Loups pride, because that is the best chance to get him talking about what hes up to, but Loup looked more deadpan then out of control in the second to last panel. Strong "seriously dude?" vibes from Loup in the last two panels.

"Does this look like I've done nothing?"
Thanks to Sonic 2, I imagined that last line spoken in Idris Elba's voice.

Rey is probably just trying to prick at Loups pride, Remember: 1) It has worked once before. 2) It is Renard THE Trickster we are talking about.

Loup speaks! He accuses Renard of playing on the pride of the Ysengrin part of him by calling Loup a coward – an accusation that Renard doesn't deny, and Loup acknowledges that it worked. But then Renard accuses Loup of having done nothing since the Court tried to trick him. To Loup (and frankly to me as well) this seems like a ridiculous statement; Loup has wrought a great deal of destruction, though perhaps Renard considers that part of the "since the Court tried to trick you" incident. As far as Renard knows, Loup hasn't done anything since that immediate response. So maybe that's what Renard means. But Loup just looks around at the ruined landscape, which was in fact his doing, and question Renard's definition of "doing nothing."
Another possibility is that Renard doesn't consider the destructive Forest wave significant. It buried a number of buildings that had long since been evacuated, it interred a number of robots, and it trapped a number of Forest creatures underground. But the Court people, including Annie, were able to rescue the trapped Forest creatures, and the efforts to find and excavate the buried robots are ongoing, and they'll go faster with Kat's new invention. What did the Forest wave really accomplish for Loup? That could be Renard's point: how did it really further Loup's agenda, whatever it is? And by pursuing this line of conversation, Renard may be probing to see what Loup actually wants, perhaps fishing for a hint as to what he might be up to now.

So how would Loup respond if say Tommy Wiseau called him chicken? “Everybody betrayed me! I’m fed up with this world.”

This scene feels the closest, so far, to the Renard and Ysengrin dynamic from the original folklore

Rey's wondering why Loup would fire the first shot in a war and then go quiet, and to be fair that's a valid question if you don't know Loup just wanted a chaotic screen to search for the Omega Device with. But is Loup fool enough to reveal this info just to gloat? Ysengrin would be, but Coyote probably wouldn't.
And the other side of that coin - is Loup clever enough to trick Rey into revealing the tooth?

And the other side of that coin - is Loup clever enough to trick Rey into revealing the tooth? I don't think so, Rey isn't stupid (most of the time). Plus Annie has specifically warned Renard to be careful. I cannot imagine he would disobey that command. It is more likely that Annie and possibly others are nearby.
