It would make sense to have Coyote done by an American voice actor, though, in light of his mythological origins. Whenever I read Coyote's lines, they're always in Mark Hamill's Joker voice from Batman The Animated Series. Video related: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ld0uIhst3TAHey! Me too. he was actually the first person I thought of when I saw Coyote laugh. It just fits so well.

If GC was a movie, it would be beyond amazing.

Very few ideas, here... Annie - Saoirse Ronan (or possibly Abigail Breslin could be cute?) Anja - Emily Mortimer Surma - Kate Winslet (difficult to pull of the uncanny resemblance with different actors, I guess, but she does look rather like a grown-up version of Saoirse, in my opinion.) Except that the movie would most likely be animated, so the actors would only supply the voices.

Considering that, I think my casting choices might still stand. Also I'd like to see Emma Thompson voicing Jones and Anthony Hopkins voicing Reynardine.

I think Bryce Dallas Howard would make an excellent Surma.
Muut's voice should be extremely accentuate, but calm and, in lack of a better word, passionless. Thinking of Hugo Weaving in The Matrix, without the condescension.

So more like Elrond in the LoTR films? I can see that. I think he would also be great as the headmaster.

If we're looking for hyper-articulate but monotonous, I could put y'all in touch with my high school math teacher. (zzzzzzzzzzzz)

Why not have Morgan Freeman do all the voices.
It would be the most soothing movie ever!

In my humble (ha, yeah right -Post Demon) opinion, I would find it hard to imagine that a movie of Gunnerkrigg Court would be able to be performed as anything other than traditional animation. As skilled as actors are, and as detailed as computer imagery can get, I don't think there's any medium as skilled as traditional watercolored animation frames at bringing out the requisite detail, atmosphere, and nuance of the subject material. (not ta mention CG in real action movies looks ugly as nosh! -PD)
