I hope Annie ends up being better at the game than Kat is.

Man, letting Annie play H:FW, a game about a fiery redhead going up against unknown powers, would've been great.

all the enemies in the game will just befriend Annie ... and the next time Kat plays the game and manages to battle to the end, she finds the Uber-boss is now.... Annie!

Man, letting Annie play H:FW, a game about a fiery redhead going up against unknown powers, would've been great. She's not so much fiery as reacting to increasingly large cluebats being directed at her by the other characters. (For those who haven't played or followed the youtube videos, the character development is extremely well done.) Plugs aside, casting Gunnerkrigg characters as H:FW understudies could be fun... - Annie as Aloy (and/or Beta? duh!) - Eglamore as Erend - Tony as Sylens - Kat as Varl, which makes - Paz as Zo a natural (;-) - Jones as Gaia - Andrew as Alva - Parley as Kotallo - Zimmy as Regalla The list goes on...

Either Annie will be a natural at ER, or the last panel's look of innocence will be ground into dust and tears. Both would be fun to watch. Smart move, Kat.

I'm a bit surprised that Tom chose this moment to do another "game commercial"; given the condition the Court's in now, this scene would almost have to be a flashback.

She's going to have quite the time doing Blaith's quest line.

There's a 7 year gap between when Metal Gear Solid 4, then 5 released. Then another 7 between that and Elden Ring. I wouldn't worry too much about how canonical these interludes are.

I like these interludes, even though I'm not familiar with any of the games in them.

It's possible to play older games. There is no indication that they are being played at launch.

What I meant was whether, after all the damage that Loup had inflicted on the Court in his latest attack, the Court's infrastructure would be stable enough for luxuries like playing video games.
