Minor typo in panel 2. Should read "but kind of a mixture" I think.

Oh no. I hadn't even thought of this. I am now very worried for the fate of Renard.

So if he is hiding, he had to "let go" of those external controls at some point, or it would be futile? As in, "look at any glowing string connected to an arbitrary puppet, they all lead to the puppet-master"?

Why is "Loup" hiding anyway? I suppose that implies he's waiting for an opportunity of some sort and doesn't want to confront Antimony (or perhaps someone else) until that opportune moment. He should still be powerful enough to do whatever he has a mind to do, though, which I guess means he hasn't decided what to do or doesn't have his mind together in general. Since whatever "Loup" would want to do is probably here and Coyote's power means connection to the Wood (or natural world in general) the lack of detectable connection would seem to indicate he's in an offset sliver of reality that can't be easily seen into, and will make his move from there once his head is on straight, he's decided on what his next move is, and/or whatever he's waiting for happens. Threatening others around Antimony has been a go-to of his, with some success in getting her to do what he wants, so perhaps he'll scope out more effective people to threaten next time, then order her to make Renard hand over his gift as well as The Tooth?

It strikes me that the change of Renard's contract status by Ancient Grumpy Stone Judge God may just have thrown a monkey wrench directly into the question of who owns anything Renard possesses.

This new, more subtle tactic of Loup's, may be more about fear than insecurity. Rey has two things that could either destroy Loup, or alter him to the point of relative destruction. His absence is troubling. I suppose eberyhting depends on Coyote's plan. Whatever it was/is.

A mixture of wood and stone is... soft? Sounds suspicious. If Coyote was a Dead-Goose-In-A-Bush-Next-To-A-Lake, what are the chances Loup is now a Hiding-Loup-In-The-Court-Under-A-Forest?

I think Antimony should now start keeping the Tooth with her at all times, especially if Renard has been continuing to carry it.

You know when you go to a new city you don't want to spook the locals and just learn their customs and eat at Pizza Hut

Read this page minutes after watching John Carpenter's The Thing and wondered if Renard had already been taken by Loup aha " Get the hell away! That's not a dog, it's some sort of thing! It's imitating a dog, it isn't real!"

Read this page minutes after watching John Carpenter's The Thing and wondered if Renard had already been taken by Loup aha One of my favorite movies. An American Werewolf in London is another one, and sort of similar. AWiL has more strange comical beats to it, though.

Kat's analysis of the sample revealed that - it is made of Play-Doh
- Oh! It is Coyote too!

Page 2542: In which Renard again elaborately voices his opinion on the current events.
