That sharp tree root in the foreground of the last panel is looking a bit ominous.
The first panel has the shadow men running for their lives, Cvet staring at the tree-wall, but who/what is that to her lower-left?
Is it Shell, or something like the wreck of the machine they carried to the edge of the Forest?

So if Annie dies do you think all the psychopomps show up like "girl whut" or are they all like "aw yiss" cause this dang ole fire spirit can finally go back in circulation? Does dying invalidate her mandatory job offer or is it fine to be incorporeal? If she does her pompin' as a spirit does it look like regular Annie, the fire elemental, or both? I guess maybe that would tie in with the whole twins arc - she's an expert at super saiyan fusing with herself now so it'll be fine if/when she becomes two ghosts? Does she also have the ghosts of all her maternal ancestors packed in there? Has the fire spirit really been a strange convoluted metaphor for mitochondrial inheritance this whole time?
If an angry coywolf makes a gigantic tree in the woods and no one's left alive to hear it does it make a sound?

It shouldn't be the machine since that was actually pretty small and svelte compared to the humans carrying it. Also it was placed on the court/green part of the grass, not the forest/green part of the grass. I'd think it's Shell, but that doesn't explain the small form next to it, since I assume Aata also didn't make it out yet (short legs and all that).

I figured the small figure to be Aata, short legs notwithstanding. He does have powers that might have permitted him to get out fast enough, I guess. What is that blue ball in the bottom left corner of the third panel, though? Simply a rock? Seems a bit too round for that...

Loup had a bit of everything floating around: green balls, red balls, blue balls, brown cylinders, some blocks. There's also still a tiny red ball in the back of that frame, so I assume it's just something normal.

Shell and Aata seems a good guess, tho Aata might have had to go into levitating/flying suit-Buddah mode to get there... The blue ball might just be one of those elemental shapes that Loup was playing with before. [edit: ninja-ed above!] Annie has some flying ability as a fire elemental, so hopefully she can just revert to fire mode and zip out of there....

Is Annie falling, or floating up, in panel 3?

Is Annie falling, or floating up, in panel 3? I'm thinking she was interrupted mid-stride in panel 2 by unexpected buoyancy/gravity shortage which worsens in panel 3 to upward momentum.

It looks as if everyone's out of the Forest who's going to leave, as we see them all in tiny silhouette before the new Forest entrance ... only now it's not an entrance; it's more of a wall of earth, rocks, and wood, with a crown of leaves and sharp root/vine/tendrils at the top. It extends into the distance, as far as the eye can see. To the right we can still see the Court-Forest border, still clearly delineated by a change in the color of the ground cover. Loup isn't moving to take more territory, or at least it doesn't appear so. Something about the Court still makes it more difficult for Loup's powers to work there, even though the Annan Waters are gone.
But wait! Annie's still inside the Forest. When we last saw her, she was running toward James. But here in the second frame we see her falling. It looks as if the ground is subsiding beneath her. In the third frame it's hard to say; it looks as if the ground has once again changed into fundamental geometric shapes, and from her posture Annie has been thrown into the air again, but her hair is still blowing upward as if she's falling, so perhaps she was tossed upward and then fell downward again. In the final frame we don't even see Annie; it's just some rocks and tree trunks. Where are Annie and James? Perhaps James is trying to get to Annie so he can grab her and then jump both of them out of there? I know it's probably unimportant (or is it?), but the hair clip on the back of Annie's head is once again visible, so when she goes into flame form, something ethereal happens to her hair clips so they can reappear when she turns the flames off.

Well, it wasn't a wall per se nor a giant Loup (at least not yet), but the entire forest cascading over the Court. The clash against the dome will truly be a sight to behold! (Yay!) Regarding the silhouettes in the first panel, I also support the idea of them being Aata and Shell (the latter's position in the previous page and the small, rotund figure give away). It is not every day that you can see a wooden tsunami. Well, Loup is a Mokuton expert, you know. Wood Release: Great Tsunami! +1, it's either one of those geometrical objects in three-dimensional space (most probably the spherical one seen here on the second panel), or just a simple, common, ordinary rock that just happened to be spending its day at that place at that time.

Is Annie falling, or floating up, in panel 3? I'm thinking she was interrupted mid-stride in panel 2 by unexpected buoyancy/gravity shortage which worsens in panel 3 to upward momentum. the background colors support this idea, I think. Panel 2, Annie is near the bottom of the warped ground chasm near the erupting Loup-mountian. Panel 3, she is floating up, as is her hair, towards the sky (heavily filtered through Forest growth), so the background lightens. Lighter blocks and spheres are joining her. Panel 4, she's floated up out of frame, and now even heavier chunks and (buried?) Loup-acles, tendrils, and roots are rising as well. Background lightens further, as our POV continues to look further upwards, but apparently not fast enough to keep up with Annie.

Where is That Guy? Does dying invalidate her mandatory job offer or is it fine to be incorporeal? Psychopomps can be killed, so I'd assume once Annie is dead all they can do is bring her into the Ether. If she didn't have a child in the meantime.

This kind of feels like Alice in Wonderland, if Wonderland is a murderous, rampaging human trap.
Given the power of environment/reality warping as demonstrated by previous incidents involving the Ether, Annie might end up fighting from inside a construct of the mind.
Renard might have to go rescue Annie and regain his original body in the process.
Ooh Renard could absorb the Tooth or store it in his body too...
