Cvet carries one/some of the noodniks to safety. Meanwhile, Shell is blocked by a Wood wall?

Dragons are so useful. Its not only fire breath, claws, intelligence and big ass claws, its also useful to be a impromptu medevac. Or evac. I dont know if Cvet can do first aid - it might get last aid quickly because of the big ass claws.

Looks like Shell is on the Court side, outside the wall. No way out of the Forest except maybe through Cvet's flight, and Parley's teleporting.

So if this is the result of Parley and Cvet's evacuation. Are Eglamore, Annie and Aata still trapped inside now that Loup has erected a giant wall?

Which, ya know, with the whole "turning into the forest and elemental shapes" might be the case?

There doesn't appear to be any motion-lines in the wall. I guess if Cvet is flying as low as she appears to be in panel 1 and 3 the wall must have erupted/appeared out-of-panel in panel 4, or alternatively just appeared in panel 5.
[edit] The point being, if the Wood wall was created because Antimony moved away from "Loup" then this page's panel 4-5 would be happening at about the same time as panel 4-5 from the previous page. Not that it really matters. [/edit]

Meanwhile, Shell is blocked by a Wood wall? Looks like Shell is on the Court side, outside the wall. I have a somewhat unrelated (and maybe stupid ) question that I've been wanting to ask for a while now: For weeks, I've seen that character called 'Shell' here on the forum. I've gone back through the comic, but I haven't been able to find that name anywhere - directly in the comic at least. Did Tom name them somewhere in a comment? Where did I miss it?

Interesting - Loup banished a lot of the forest creatures previously but not all of them, right? So a lot of creatures might be at risk of getting hurt or killed with these massive transformations. Or did everything sneak into the court over time, including all the weird monsters and regular animals?

I enjoyed the straggler's expression in Panel 1, but I really want to see their reaction to Cvet's decision to "drop them off" in Panel 4.
Also interesting is that Cvet has her left leg tucked in Panel 1, but her right leg is tucked in Panel 3. I wonder if there's some kind of alternating motion to a Rogat Orjak's flight—if so, I hadn't noticed that before.

Cvet didn't exactly give him a soft landing, is what I'm saying.
Edit: Ninja'd!

It looks to me more like the base of a giant tree than a wall. I figured it was the whole Loup-melding-with-the-earth situation on steroids. I can imagine the top of that wall/tree/whatever being a couple of red and blue jawbones...

Usual impressions post. At the end of the previous page Annie broke off trying to communicate with Loup, as he didn't look as if he were in any state to communicate, and something was happening. Everyone was leaving, so Annie left too. Here on this page, we stop following Annie and James and instead go to Cvet, who has grabbed a Shadow Men agent and is carrying him out of the Forest by air. We see other agents standing around as another one runs out under their own power. It may be that the running one is Shell, whom we last saw doing just that – Aata gave the order to leave, and I suppose Shell has been passing that on to the other agents.
There's a wide aerial view of Cvet flying low over the Forest-Court border, probably still carrying the agent. Cvet then slows down to drop the guy off, but that's in the background – Shell's in the foreground, sweat on her face, looking quite apprehensively back at the Forest. Her clothes are, of course, still torn where she was impaled.
And then we see what Shell was looking at. The Forest border has become an impenetrable wall of trees and stone. The land has thrust upward steeply outside this wall, making it difficult to even get to the wall. It's unclear at this point whether all the Shadow Men agents have gotten out. We don't see Aata. We don't see James, Parley, or Annie either, but Parley can teleport, and James can jump, so it's possible that James will jump Annie out while Parley teleports Aata, but who knows? Maybe Annie will fly out; we've seen her do minor amounts of levitation before, but not actual flight (it seems that Surma was more about flying than fire, while Annie's the opposite, like her great-grandma of the same first name). Anyway, I'm not terribly worried about the survival of any named characters other than Aata at this point.
Now to see what everyone else got from this page ...

Well, either that's something wall-like, or we're about to see Kaiju Loup. The wall would make sense, due to Loup's maturity level and perceived threat level. Not to dissimilar, from covering your head with a blanket, to protect your self from the monster under the bed. Though, it's a blanket made of Ironwood, so maybe a good idea.
On the other hand, a Kaiju Loup would mean a Court Mecha. In my head, I'm imaging it shaped like Aata. It's hilarious.

Or did everything sneak into the court over time, including all the weird monsters and regular animals? He banished only the tree elves. All other creatures that went into the Court did so on their own volition, usually through the roots/tunnels underneath. However it's unclear if most of the Forest including its denizens is still frozen in time. It's pretty difficult not getting hurt from what's going on when you're frozen in time.

Judging from the color of the ground, the wall has been raised on the Court side of the divide, or on the boundary at least. How long or high the wall is is unclear. Its possible the whole forest was raised onto a plateau (though I doubt it). Within the forest, it is also not clear how extensive the warping around the Loup-volcano is, and so how extensive the damage.

All I can think of is, at that speed, this page is missing the distinct sound of the straggler's neck/spine snapping.

Yeah if perspective is correct she dropped him from a height of six to twenty feet which would be no good so I assumed from first glance that it was just artistic license. They're framed nicely between Shell, Shell's arm, and the border of the panel. Come to think of it, it'd probably make more sense for Cvet to carry him/them with her lower appendages. Easier to hover and drop, less distance to fall. Less personal though, to carry somebody like prey.

I choose to belive Shell is Loups primary target because she is the most magically talented person in the Court, not even secretly. It's just taboo to talk about that stuff and she is completely unwilling to use any of her power and risk her postion. I doubt the comic will portray anything that will prove my perfectly reasonable belief wrong.

I choose to belive Shell is Loups primary target because she is the most magically talented person in the Court, not even secretly. It's just taboo to talk about that stuff and she is completely unwilling to use any of her power and risk her postion. Then he would start with probing attacks. She still may have something, of course, or be augmented in some way (with much hand-wringing, maybe). Not necessarily one relevant to the situation. Who knows. After all, Aata gave her an important role in a very important mission. Then: - Loup knows what Eggers and Parley can do. - doesn't know what Aata can do, but may be a serious opponent not to attack recklessly. - doesn't know what Aata's minion #1 can do, has no time to find out, but she clearly has something, is important and not demigod-level. So Loup hits her right away to eliminate one more possible trump in Aata's sleeve.
