This is at least the second time they've talked about the court taking students away. I am really curious what that's about.

Zimmy probably just forgot herself again. Seems to happen a lot, just some times it is more persistent than other times. I guess that means Tam and the elves aren't totally in Zimmyham, maybe just reflections of them in Zimmy's mind ( and Annie's?) which I guess sees a lot of stuff. Must be odd to be psychically connected to everyone like that and have it get worse the more stressed out you are. Maybe a lot like dreaming. Stress dreams that pull in and involve other people. Like a more benign Nightmare on Elm Street. And Gamma just has a natural resistance to it, like a ... I dunno, a dream-traveling psychologist maybe. Any of you ever seen Paprika? One of my favorite films. Gorgeous. A little like this chapter, but moreso.

Well, the last time we saw Zimy forget who she is, she thought she was Annie, and the real Annie was also in Birminghell, so... Nothing is off the table yet.

When Zimmy was wearing her Tam suit, it seemed like she was acting like him too, not just looking like him. Including his thoughts, if we take what she said at face value. This seems different than what went on here, when she tried to tell Gamma she was really Annie and looked like Annie but didn't really talk like her or act like her. Just an observation.
