I did a very rough connect-the-dots with it, and though much of what we can see is in shadow and it contains some guesswork the end result looks like Gamma is probably gently falling (flopping?) backwards. The pose doesn't look panicked or in any particular distress. Here it is at 50% size. Remember that it does contain guesswork so speculate at your own risk.  |

Of course the next question is what it means. To me it looks as if she's sprawled out unconscious, possibly on top of something (a pile of toys, perhaps). That does bring back the question of what's happened to her, but at least it's probably not something that's fatal (yet, at least). I doubt Zimmy would be trying to find Gamma, or telling anyone else to find her, if there were no Gamma to find. But is Gamma in Zimmingham or the physical world? Can Gamma be found from their current vantage point on reality? Off go the Annies and Renard ... do they know where the former toy shop is? Have they seen any landmarks? Or are they just going to begin a search pattern of some kind? Or just go where it somehow feels right to go? The Annies seemingly bounced right back from being told they're no different from the people chasing Zimmy. Helping Zimmy seems to be their only goal right now. Of course, doing so would be the only way out of there. But Annie's always had a fixation on helping people/beings in need. |

Gamma's hair on her right side is clearly up higher than it should be at rest, all things held equal, which (along with the pose in general) is why I think she's probably falling. That could be explained by being in a pile of toys but there's no indication of any... which may or may not mean anything, since it could just be an artistic choice. Normally people falling backwards in uncontrolled fashion would be grabbing at anything, even air, trying to stop themselves, but she isn't and her mouth isn't open or pursed. Her left hand is closed like she either doesn't care or isn't conscious. Overall, it looks sorta dreamlike to me. I'm thinking this is a representation of Gamma either falling into the darkness of Zimmingham, which is nothing to panic about for her, or flopping backwards into something unthreatening (such as a pile of toys) or reclining in an irregular pile of things. If the latter, she's probably going to take a nap there until found.

I love how the Annies just instantly accepted that Zimmy is talking through the elf kids and thus available for conversation, but hasn't bothered to try and give any explanation to said elf kids except, "look, weird stuff just happens here, ok?" She is in full-on Etherical Rescue Mode and has absolutely no time or energy to deal with their ignorance, stupidity, and/or confusion. Also, holy CARP I can't REMEMBER the last time I did a double-take as hard as when I saw that that was Gamma behind the panels (thanks wies )
...oh right, it was this time. Silly me, forgetting something like that!

Can anybody tell me why Zimmy says that Annie is no different from the elf kids? She didn’t get the sarcasm in Annie’s say about “not harassing Zimmy usually” and took offense or something? I thought Zimmy considers Annie her friend to some extent, why is she again rude with her?
