Is she about to tell Paz the whole story? Like all 77 chapters worth?

Is she about to tell Paz the whole story? Like all 77 chapters worth? She might skip over Brinnie. Also doubling down on my theory that Kat will use the time travel tech to pull Paz' dog Traveller out of the water before he drowns, this looks like the perfect place for it to happen.

Hmm, this reveals a meaning of the past chapter I didn't consider.
"I'd never have been able to do on my own, and that is fine!" Kat has the inclination to do everything on her own, and to not burden others with the things she knows and has seen. So that explains the thematic reason for why time travelling went so easy and she got so much guidance: for her to learn that to depend on others and share your problems is okay.
And it is neat this chapter opens with her communicating honestly with Paz and explaining stuff to her. She is making progress.

Nah, we will have three chapters of Paz sneaking around the Annies. At some point the twins will get tired of it and ask Paz to just go ahead and do the whole speach again. Paz will then admit that she wanted the Annies' help for her Brinnie costume, but she was too afraid to ask after attacking her like she did.

I knew the topic would go somewhere around Kat's Urd! Not exactly a surprise though, considering the haircut

Oh, that would be nice. It would heal a sore spot in "the feels", but I think that heartache, was part of the reason behind The Traveler's narrative. You have some good growth going there, Kat.

Hey, arf, shouldn't it be [2382], not [2383], in the headline?

Kat referring to her future self using a gender-neutral "they".

For the place, a proposal is coming I know this will make me unpopular, but I kind of hope not. They're so young. And if they've been living together, it's been a short time. The Tom I was familiar with was too cynical to write a story that way, with two teenagers getting engaged. But I could be wrong? Maybe himself being married might make him want write the romantic relationships more onscreen. But I still think this is probably just going to be a cute Kat + Paz moment together, not necessarily a proposal.

I love Paz and Kat together, but I also hope it's not a proposal. I did know several people who got engaged in high school, but none of them actually ended up getting married, so I feel like even if there were to be a proposal, it would just set me on edge for a break up.

Kat referring to her future self using a gender-neutral "they". Actually, I'm pretty sure it's just a plural "they".

Kat referring to her future self using a gender-neutral "they". Actually, I'm pretty sure it's just a plural "they". Indeed. But for a split second, I thought that Kat was starting refer to herself (in the present) with a non-binary pronoun.

Kat referring to her future self using a gender-neutral "they". Actually, I'm pretty sure it's just a plural "they". In the previous bubble she was talking in the singular, though. " A version that was", "more sure of herself". She clearly isn't talking about all of her Norn versions, but one in particular - her future self. Now yeah, her usage of gender-neutral speech is inconsistent here, sure. And she might only doing this because she doesn't want to gender the Norn. But it's definitely a singular, gender-neutral they. EDIT: Also, note that Paz specifically highlights this usage.

Except that she already did gender the future-self Norn by indicating "sure of herself". Could she maybe have suddenly switched to talking about all three Norns - "And ... they were pretty cool?" I dunno... otherwise its inconsistent, as you noted.

I suspect Kat is finding it hard to decide how to refer to the Norns: 'she' or 'they'? She ('Urd') was the version more sure of herself, but the Norns ('they') were all cool. (I mean, Skuld could tweak bird controls, and Verdandi read the right comics!)
(Page number in title corrected, btw. Thanks for the pointer)

I like how in the previous page Kat referred to "Annie" as "they" and now she is talking about the Norns as both "her" and "they".
Plurals and singulars are increasingly mixing.

Something unexpected will happen. The android ship's leaving the Court forever and wants the Angel to come with them.

They'll stay together even tho Kat has a kid (Robot) with another woman (Annie)
