Awww, sweet reunion "I think you could tell I had a lot of stuff on my mind. But don't worry, I've just come back from messing about with space-time so things should be fine now!"

A sweet page ended with three dots.
I want to be wrong about this going badly but Paz has things to say.

"Yeah sorry babe I broke causality with a robot toucan, kinda heavy stuff. All good now though - my mom rang up her valkyrie pal and we all got to chill with some living embodiments of intangible temporal concepts for a bit while I piloted my robo-bird through a fountain, had a nice chat, got the idea for this sweet paradox haircut. So yeah I guess I realized subrelativistic causality violation is totally fine, you know? Maybe I'll even go ahead and break space too while I'm at it, become a hyperdimensional machine god. Go big or go home, right? Welp time to go check up on all those novel sentient lifeforms I left 3D printing in the basement."

It's fun that we can track Kat's confidence by the shortness of her hair

Whenever I see these two together I can't help but to remember all the stories about love between big gods and small mortals. And how they (almost) never end with a happy ever after. Am I too negative about this?

Am I too negative about this? Statistics say... no. No, you're not. Paz seems to be ready to say something like, "Yes... about that... I've been thinking about how things have been going lately and...". You know, THE TALK. But I hope not.

The real reason she got the haircut before she got it. Paz loves it

Am I too negative about this? She's slightly bigger than a mortal because she can talk to animals. Who knows by time she hits 30 she could persuade them to her bidding

Has Kat heard about Paz's confrontation with Annies? If so, I hope she mentions it. That wasn't very nice.

Paz behaved horribly to Annie, but she's a teenage schoolgirl in love in a difficult situation. She's not irredeemable and I hope her reaction here when Kat mentions Annie is not to fly off the handle and make Kat choose between Annie and Paz, because that will just make everybody sad.

I wouldn't want to face a rolling wave of woodland animals, tasked with destroying me. Plus, Paz may be able to get helpful info from the forest.

In the last panel, both Kat and Paz look apologetic. I suspect Paz feels sorry for confronting Annie^2 as she did, but will she say anything?

However this turns out, I think Paz owes Zimmy big for shutting down Paz's speech to the Antimonies before she got to the conclusion... where she would probably have demanded that Antimonies and Kat no longer be friends and never see each other again or something equivalent to that.

Awww, sweet reunion "I think you could tell I had a lot of stuff on my mind. But don't worry, I've just come back from messing about with space-time so things should be fine now!" "Well, except that there are still two Annies of course. And that I'm practically starting a revolution against the Court by secretly stealing their robot workforce's/shield emitters' CPUs and turning them into living beings. And something about that insane God in the woods over there threatening us, I forget."

Frankly, I never got why any time this relationship appears in the comic, people are going "OH NO, THEY ARE GOING TO BREAK UP, AREN'T THEY?".

I'd say this looks like a pretty good sign. I don't expect a breakup.

Every time your girlfriend says “Yes” to a statement you just made, you should immediately assume that a break up is imminent. I think “jumping the gun” is appropriate here. They could still break up, it’s a possibility, but not looking probable right this second.
