My first shock of the poll - I can't believe Smitty got way less votes! If I was choosing between them I'd absolutely pick Smitty. His ability is fascinating, and he's hilarious!

Hey wait a minute, how come Parley wears the same dress as Margo? Probably for the same reason John Sullivan, Ysengrin, Mort, Robot, Shadow and Smitty more or less wear the same tux. Strict dress code on the gunnerkrigg character character poll, it seems! |

I too am surprised but not because I think Parley doesn't deserve a Top 10 place! You go girl! Smitts is so smitten with her, he's so great, I thought he'd be a shoe-in for Top 10. But Parley is hilarious and she's got the panache.

Positively not. The ruching on Parley's dress goes all the way up the seam and it has a wrap bodice, and Margo's dress is plain and shows only cross-stretch wrinkles. Plus they're totally different colours. Also I think Margo's dress is likely to be a woven fabric, possibly a taffeta, and Parley's is probably a fine jersey. |
