Who is the character with white hair actually? It's Tea.

This must be the only online comic whose page output *increases* during breaks!

I have to say this is the most excited I've ever been for the two week break. I am so curious about the results of the poll and looking forward to the characters' reactions! The Q&A was my favourite break so far and I feel like this will be similar.

Tea in New York, but not at Tiffany's.

Ye gods, I can't even look at that picture. Fear of heights triggering. Feels like some of those moments playing Mirror's Edge.

I hope Tea doesn't do any hardcore parkour at that height. Looking forward to the Tomfoolery.

Tea in New York, but not at Tiffany's. Because they already had breakfast there, dear

I've noticed that in several of her appearances, Tea has been depicted with injuries of one sort or another. These don't seem directly related to the setting she's in, or to the events of the respective chapter. This seems to be more common in the "realistic" pages rather than the chibi or cartoonish ones.
Has there been any previous discussion of this? Is Tom sending a message about "real life" as contrasted with the Gunnerverse? For some reason it reminds me of the way witches and wizards in the Harry Potter verse seem considerably more injury-resistant than normal folks.

I'd say it's a literal cliffhanger, but this webcomic has more cliffs than a Road Runner cartoon.

If it *is* post-apocalyptic, that raises the question of how it got that way - and in particular, whether that might have been the result of the Court's experimenting with the ether....

The best thing to do is just let Tea be Tea, and try not to think too hard about all of the many, many, many questions her circumstances always raise.

I'm looking forward to the side comic Tea and Tom in the Apocalyptic Future. (In which we still don't get to see Tom's face.)

I guess Tea is a Time Traveller from a timeline which things didn't work out so well as in the comic's and from time to time she dips in this timeline and subtly guides events along so all will end well this time.

So. now we have 4 points of reference: (who?) : 0 votes (seriously, John, sue your agent) Margo: 27 votes City Face: 920 votes Robot: 921 votes (Me: "What? only 1 over a pigeon?" R:"It was worth it" Me:"Oh, nevermind") Shadow: 1247 votes Well, making it a graph, the prediction here is that the slope would be medium from places 10 to 5, after place 5 very steep and it'd level in places 3 to 1

Since everyone's in their formalwear, perhaps Court!Annie will be in a proper formal dress while Forest!Annie will be sporting a tux to match their respective clothing preferences. Assuming they get in, that is.

Yeah, I can't picture Forest Annie in a tux. (Kat, perhaps.) If there's a difference in the Annies' clothing choices (and let's not forget that their tastes haven't diverged that much), I'd expect it to be along the lines of the recent treatise (Court Annie: ankle-length dress; Forest Annie: more of a skirt/tunic). But I also know next to nothing about fashion, so my guess probably isn't worth much.

The poll is getting too much to me: I dreamed the Annies barely got votes, even fewer than Loup, and there was shock in the forums.
I guess either Coyote or the Court is messing with my dreams.
