Does anyone else notice "Robot's" text bubble is purple? Purple. I don't think I had paid attention to that before but I can't be the only one to have noted this. the rounded purple is superimposed on the normal green polygon of robot-speak. Maybe the voice of the evil shadow speaking through robot? Doubt it; Shadow, while just a kid, spoke through vibrations and sounded initially just like Kat. Lately I think his speech bubbles aren't any particular color...

Yes, but Shadow 2 had to make do with the surfaces he was on, that particular shadow man had control of S13's body and thus his technology to create speech.

What I'm wondering is how Kat is going to shift the bird without creating multiple timelines, since the Interpreter guy seemed to imply that's how it works. The interpreter guy (which, as we have established, isn't all-knowing by any stretch) says that Coyote-level creatures can create timelines, but that seems to be something that has to be done explicitly. In this universe, timelines don't automatically spring into existence when a time travel event happens. Edit: as clarification, I understood what he said as that Loup first created the new timeline, then shifted Courtnie out of it, as separate actions. I guess that checks out.

Yes, but Shadow 2 had to make do with the surfaces he was on, that particular shadow man had control of S13's body and thus his technology to create speech. If so, why isn't his speech just straight-up green like all the other robots, or white overlaid over the green, or a new color? I am possibly reading way too much into this. But just given how careful Tom has been about "assigning" speech bubble colors to characters (Kat is bluish, Annie is pinkish, Eggs is greenish, Zimmy is purplish, robots have green with also shape differences; many characters have no specific color) it just stands out to me a lot that this bubble is purple. Like, it's probably not Zimmy Zimms, right, but Coyote's bubbles aren't purple, nor are Ysengrin's, and as far as we've seen shadows have no specific speech color. Robots do, but that color is blocked by the interference shown by the evil-shadow. Anyway. You get my point.

Well, my interpretation was that this way was simply the easiest to definitely show that S13 was possessed.
