So will they see now in one sitting everything what the Tic Toc saw? Included Annie's fall? Really looking forward to the next pages. Also, so that is what the Thousand Eyes mean. All those Kat's and Annie's that are looking through the Timestream now. No wonder that got on Zimmy's nerves.

So, Zimmy is terrified of Kat, yet Kat spies on her through time. No wonder Zimmy is so stressed.

I approve of past Annie being visibly more football-headed. Wait'll we go back even further...

I think the chapter ends either on or shortly after an unexpected and shocking viewing of what the Tic Toc saw.

Huh.
Didn't Annie have the scar/wound back then? Or does the Tic Toc have the same "ether-censor" like Kat does?

Zimmy was clearly aware she was being observed but may not have grasped all the specifics of what happened... She may have perceived it as an overlay of something/someone with multiple eyes observing her from out of phase instead of multiple versions of the same person and I'm not sure at all she connected that with Kat. Remember the Norns are watching her through the pool too.

According to Red, Ysengrin originally buried the Tic-tok, but seemed to have forgotten about it. That would probably mean, Coyote made him forget it. I wonder, if we'll get a message from Coyote. A way of communicating that circumvents Loup. Coyote: *tap* *tap* "Is this thing on?" *tries using his paw to help auto-focus* "How do beauty vloggers do this?"

I usually hate when media does time shenanigans but this has me so engaged. There's so many carefully laid pieces falling into place.

Even more reminiscent of the Thousand Eyes panel, must be the visual effect we see when it travels Cookies to philman for being so on the nose with this yesterday!

I thought it was a ploy on him to intentionally wait, not that he forgot it because Coyote made him forget. Also, I want to quote this post from wildspec here because its topical. Waaaaait, what if that's what the lake water is... A memory of a full conversation they had with Coyote through the tic-toc, what they learned/set up, and then removed it from himself with instructions to himself to give it to parley and smitty when they visit later on. E: Or something equally temporally convoluted.

more wild spec space but what if Kat messing with the timeline triggers some of Zimmy's outbreaks LAUGHING ON LINE they only appear to Annie when they do b/c she's probably telling Kat when she's seen them just now

. . . it's possible the Tic Toc made it rain there as part of its job of protecting Kat's loved ones. C'mon, c'mon, impatient for the next few pages, I want them cookies!

"By that point" doesn't mean anything but there should be a minimum of six Kats viewing the key incidents. However, for every two Kat eyes there would be four Antimony eyes and six Norn eyes. That's a lot of eyes total.

Huh. Didn't Annie have the scar/wound back then? Or does the Tic Toc have the same "ether-censor" like Kat does? As I understand it, those without "ether-vision" couldn't see it in the first place, and even among those with the power to see the ether, only a few could actually see the scar. Even Annie was not fully aware of it. So it's no surprise the TicToc can't perceive that.

I'm really excited to see where this is going on. For example, do we get to learn what is the bismuth seed or even better, that it's Kat's creation too? So Kat would ultimately be the originator of the Court?
Do we get to learn where Jones has originated from and what she is made of?
What if Shadow was somewhat guided through to Antimony by a Tik-Tok? And from there, Annie discovered Robot and brought them back to life and guided them to the forest to return Shadow to his family but we know how it turned out...
Soooooo many speculations. I'm thrilled.

(why does "o m g" get censored to "gosh golly"? That's a terrible swap it completely ruins the cadence)

Yes, but Kat wasn't listening when this story was told and even then I doubt she'll send the Tic-Toc back into pre-Court times because she suddenly decided she had to absolutely cause some legend told among the robots. Huh. Didn't Annie have the scar/wound back then? Or does the Tic Toc have the same "ether-censor" like Kat does? Not even Annie could perceive the scar. It was only visible in Ether sequences or through Zimmy. I'm really excited to see where this is going on. For example, do we get to learn what is the bismuth seed or even better, that it's Kat's creation too? So Kat would ultimately be the originator of the Court? I'm thrilled. While Annie might get the idea to look at this and that to clear up some mysteries, Kat's primary goal is to keep her best friend from dying, not to create one temporal bootstrap paradox after the other. It might change, but right now she has no reason to believe she has to do anything else than guiding her mother to the warehouse and saving Annie from falling.

But she will send it back then. We don't know why yet, but it will happen. Yes, only Zimmy and Coyote have ever shown any sign that they could see the scar. There's no reason to believe that a robot could. Maybe the Norns can see it, but we're not seeing things from their point of view.It probably will change. But as we're seeing right here, she doesn't have 100% control over when and where the Tic-Toc goes. She clearly didn't intend to send it to this particular time and place that we're seeing. But it's interesting that this is the Tic-Toc's first destination (from its point of view). Is it the Tic-Toc's last appearance (chronologically)? Anyway, some of the appearances of the Tic-Toc may have been accidental due to difficulty controlling where and when it goes.

But she will send it back then. We don't know why yet, but it will happen. The present day robots don't seem to know that much about the times or their first generation. The Tic-Toc could as well appear in a time after the Court's foundation, but early enough to develop into a legend in the following times. No one can see the scar any more, because Jeanne healed it before she went into the Ether. Its last chronological appearance (barring this and the previous chapter) would be when Ysengrin brought the remains back to the Court.
