Folks, it's possible, and even normal, and often desirable, for another relationship to be "more dear" to you than your primary pair bond. It's not a commentary on Kat's relationship with Paz. It's just that the length and depth of Kat's relationship with Annie makes them "sisters of the heart". Paz may feel threatened, but not by the possibility that Kat and Annie will wind up together. It's that she is too young and passionate to have discovered that your primary pair bond can't and shouldn't take all of your affection. If Paz ever has kids, which given her bond with small things I think is more than likely,* she'll get this. She'll be that sort of mother.
*Reminding those who've been under a rock for the last 40 years that it's possible to become pregnant without having sex. I'm not talking about Paz's sexual orientation.

Then combined with the next panel, emphasizing "most" dear and showing both Court Annie and Forest Annie. But two people cannot both be the "most" dear.
To me at least it feels like the panel is implying very soon Kat will have to pick an Annie. Maybe she only gets to save them in one timeline or something. Or fixing whatever Loup did means (because we know Kat isn't going to let that go and having time travel means she can now actually do something about it) means only one Annie gets to stay.
As far as we know, they are not really two people. They are both the real Antimony. There is only one person to save. There is also only one timeline where Annie needs saving.
I like the "Kat visits the Norns several times in one lifetime" theory, but then that's troublesome as well. Because it means that Kat will NEED to visit the Norns several times. I get the feeling you don't just visit Norns for tea. (Although they might like that. And some scones.) Kat is on the way to becoming a divine being. As such, it should be trivial to her to visit the Norns without having Brinnie ask every time. I also find it perfectly reasonable that a divine being might occasionally visit the Norns just for tea. Who knows, maybe Kat's future visits to the Norns will be hundreds of years into the future and concern wholly other things that came up as part of her divine work. And because as a goddess/angel she will not age anymore, in every other visit she'll be the same age, except this (to her) first one, where she is thus "a little younger than usual".

And the oddest thing here is still the fact that in this one reality Kat's jumpsuit is yellow.

(. Y'know, this got me thinking: Is Anja's Skuld acting all 5 year old in a teenage body or her general position might be matching but the attitude isn't? And while we're at it, what would Anja see if Kat or Annie pat Skuld on the head? Head pat or belly rub?

The image you just (accidentally?) conjured of Kat cheerfully patting Skuld on the head and Anja seeing it pass right through Skuld's upper torso like a hologram just made me laugh out loud, thank you.

Yeah, that's a possibility too. The illusion (?) might not affect other people interacting with them Norns and that could cause some glitchy behavior, like Kat handing the Tic-Toc control thingy to Skuld and Anja seeing Kat giving it at leg height then it glitching to Skuld's hand in the newest page (but it could go the other way and Anja see Skuld reaching down instead of up, that's why the head pat example is more effective to my point)
