Oh? Where in Sweden do you live? (feel free to ignore this question if it is too personal) Haha, I'm in Stockholm, so whether it's personal or not, living in a city of a million people is hardly a strong identifier! I work at one of the universities though, and as with academia in every country around 50% of my colleagues are foreigners like me, hence the limited opportunities to practice my swedish in day to day life. How about you, where do the other Swedish GC fans live? Lund. I just thought it would be funny if it turned out we were next door neighbors or something. The closest I've come to something like that was the time the webcomic Sandra and Woo pointed out that a paper had been published that used artwork from their comic as part of their algorithms, and when I looked at the authors it turned out one of them were teaching one of the courses I was reading. |
