Seems like Anja is in for quite the shock.

That's an encouragingly positive reaction.

"Kiiiinda."
If by "found" you mean "are the author and finisher of".

The realization that the world is about to end by time travel paradox has driven her laughing mad.

Yes. "Found". We definitely found it.

Kat: "Yes, yes, "found it" as in the latin "invenire", which means to come upon, to discover, so you could say, I've invented it!"

Kat: "Found it? Yes, I suppose we did..." Fannie: "Kinda" Courtney: "Lying in a forgotten corner..." Fannie: "of Kat's... brain." Kat: "Err.. we think it might have..." Fannie: "... snuck in." Kat: "Or did Annie chase it?" Courtney: "Did we?" Kat: "Yes." Fannie: "That's it" Courtney: "Definitely" Fannie: *nod* Courtney: *nod* Anje: "..."

In many languages, the words for finding and inventing are closely related, e.g. Dutch vinden/uitvinden, German finden/erfinden; Latin has been mentioned above.

That seems a rather loooong delayed reaction... does Anja know something, and took a moment to cook up a reasonable alternative explanation?

So... are Anja's crow's feet of all the stress that the last ~6 months have generated, or just another representation of the passage of time?

It's not just you. While she had slight evidence of crow's feet lines all the way back in Chapter 64, it's really noticeable here, which I'd argue is both stress and the passage of time as IvDead mentioned.
I'll also jump on board with the theory that Anja's delayed reaction is an effort to hide something- and I'll posit that Donald also has something to do with it. Maybe his portable doors are part of a larger body of research into space-time?

Anyone else heard Anja's "Ah haha" in Sayuri's if-you-didn't-knew-her-you'd-think-she-was-faking smile?

Until the last panel I was thinking "Ohh, nice touch, starting the chapter immediately after they had 'the talk'!". Then it got even better.

Hypothesis: maybe Anja is trying to figure out what she can say out loud because she's aware the Court might be listening? (Also see Donald Donlan in this chapter). More likely know she knows the birds are time phenomena and she's trying not to assume the worst.

Yeah, they sure do have some research put into space-time shenanigans. Don produced out of thin air a rocket that goes up by literally bending the fabric of space-time instead of using thrusters.

Agree with fia; I wonder if Anja may recognize that the Court is probably listening in on this. Along with many of you, I also see her long pause as suspicious... but it may just be genuine surprise since she had probably written off the possibility of getting her hands on one. Kinda depends on how closely she was listening to what Kat said/Kat's overall demeanor: demure "I need to talk to you about something" rather than celebratory "I gotta show you something!"/"look what I found!".
