"Just a matter of perspective" has been raised over and over as a motif in this comic, and heavily so in the last interaction with Zimmy! So I am curious to where this will go.

Yes, there is definitely a huge BUT coming.
She's spent the last couple of pages complaining about how impossible this is, now she says that the impossible doesn't bother her.
BUT there is something about this that is more than just impossible; BUT now they're gone too far; BUT now they're replaced my friend with two clones from another dimension, etc.
