To be fair, the Antimonies are a project friend that requires a lot of attention.

Kat's been pushing through the pain, Peloton style, and one day that's going to push her straight through to robot godhood. From not being able to do enough to being able to do damn near anything she chooses. She has friendship and love with her fallibility and limits.
Now, every story is not a trope, but usually apotheosis is a crucible or at the very least a trade that starts with someone not being enough. I think we've been seeing the trade in increments, as surely as Kat upgraded Robot, piece by piece. How much of the original is left at the end?

Well done on bringing up the Paz situation in a positive way though Annie, it would have been distressingly easy to dismiss her as just another mad girlfriend, but it's good to see that some of Paz's more reasonable worries have been taken to heart.

Very diplomatic how Annie tells Kat of her encounter with Paz.

Yes, yes, talk with each other! Well, like, I said: they are bad at telling each other when they struggle with something, luckily for their friendship they are both good at getting the other to talk about their struggles.

The ends... the ends don't justify the means, Kat. Especially since I feel like the "freeing" of the robots isn't something ANYONE really asked for. Yes, being bound to a program that makes 'em project the shield is not cool, and being head-crabbed is even more uncool. But no one, besides Kat and MAYBE Juliette (but only because of Arthur), was really having that much thought about the CPU's being in cold-storage.
Also, her outburst really tells a whole story here. She's really packing in a lot of stress and tension.

This could be very positive, in regards to Kat/Annie matters. If she shows the Twins the photo, in the chapter thumbnail, or takes them to her virtual whiteboard with holographic red yarn, Kat'll be opening up. It would be far more foreboding, if she didn't address her troubling thoughts, about a possible "original" Annie. I don't know what the Twins might say(or even if Kat has "original" Annie issues), but opening up about it is far better than bottling it up. This could be good.

And over the coming pages we will see if she also managed to not to take to heart the unreasonable parts of Paz's performance. I admit I have a nagging feeling Annies may just accept it wholesale, distancing themselves from Kat included. Can't see that helping Kat's stress levels, and if she ever learns Paz was behind this... I predict another one of these moments.
