I'm not sure if this is the correct way to launch this idea, but I hope it can be of help at any rate. I feel that the forum is so expanded that it gets hard to navigate. The solution I came up with is a simple subdivision : group the threads about specific pages together in one subforum. This would simplify the board and it would prevent, in my humble opinion, the loss of some threads in page-related topics that are only discussed till the next page is published. upon opening the forum, one would then see - fanart
- rules of play
- subforum about specific pages
- 448: the chariot, the sky scraper and the boys
- 447: all clear
- etc.
- the thread with the most recent post
- the thread with the second most recent post
- etc
It might be a lot of work, though, and maybe you all prefer the forum as it is.

Sounds like a plan. I guess it would be up to Tom, though.

Yes to this. The forum isn't big enough to support its own non-comic related subforum, but the individual comic page threads take up so much space it can get kinda hard to find anything else.

If the latest page threads were moved off the main forum the first thing people would see is a forum that has two year old threads and doesn't update.
This forum isn't active enough to warrant separation. As it is, the most active threads are kept at the top, and older, inactive threads that people have no interest in eventually drop off the front page and die. That's how it should be.
