If her reprogrammed phone has short range for accurate tracking, then I assume she'll be using a larger grid setup that we don't necessarily see to narrow down where to look?

It's finally starting to really click for me just why it is that Kat looks like THAT in the ether.

I am waiting for the crucial moment when Kat needs something to be made RIGHT NOW (Maybe an anti-grav unit? That sounds like it could save the day.), and her remote factory is out of raw materials.

In the beginning, the Angel created the Cloud. Now the Cloud is formless and empty, pluripotence immanent within neural networks, and the Angel was hovering over the algorithms.
And the Angel said, "Let there be [technology]", and there was [technology]. And the Angel saw that it was good.

Perhaps Kat handing the device off like that means the macguffin hunt will be Forest!Annie's quest, while Kat, Court!Annie and co have other (robot related) things humming away in the background.
Gonna guess Parley will accompany her if so, which would give us a chance get to know Cvet better.

[Assuming no Forest creature got the idea of stealing a bone and a vial of lake water, If one of the Forest creatures *did* find those objects, would it turn them over to Loup or decide to keep them for itself?

Fastforward to the two Annies fighting a strangely overpowered ashtray, and Kat calls "Annies, my computer tells me your detecting device has activated, the lake water seems to be close", "I might have guessed that on my own".

[Assuming no Forest creature got the idea of stealing a bone and a vial of lake water, If one of the Forest creatures *did* find those objects, would it turn them over to Loup or decide to keep them for itself? We've seen Forest creatures moving about, but we know some are frozen. If family and friends got seperated, they could have started a Loup resistance, to free the others. I'm imagining it led by a now-rugged Snuffle. *insert A-Team music*

If that phone's gonna sound off whenever it's near something like a tooth, they'd all better keep their mouths closed!

....am I allowed to say I called it...? I don't think I've ever tasted "you were right" cookies before... So when Kat says she can make a tracking device to look for the Coyote gifts, does she mean she can technimagically materialize it thanks to her new computer setup?

[Assuming no Forest creature got the idea of stealing a bone and a vial of lake water, If one of the Forest creatures *did* find those objects, would it turn them over to Loup or decide to keep them for itself? Interesting question! And one whose answer hinges on many variables, like... did Loup send the creature to the Court or did it get there on its own volition, how intelligent is the creature, how powerhungry is it - but most of all, can it even see the significance of the objects? I am leaning towards "no" - if simple ethervision were enough to discover the bone and water's true natures, Coyote would have risked Ysengrin or Annie immediately realizing those were no ordinary gifts.

Don't worry, it's fine: Skynet the totally innocent robot factory is designed to indiscriminately harvest any and all raw materials from its surroundings in case of a shortage. Problem solved!
Oh, and before I forget: *dumps giant pile of official "you were right" brand cookies on tustin2121* There ya go. Have fun.

Seems to me like Kat and Willy Wonka would be pals.
