UM YES I may have been reading too much into this but I have only one thing to say The typo only ever happens with Fannie in her fire elemental state! In fact, Fire Elemental Fannie NEVER wears the blue clip while Courtnie is CONSISTENTLY depicted as wearing it. Coincidence? I think not! Maybe because the green Annie is The Fire and her physical form is just a fabrication from Loup! That would explain blue Annie's weakened fire, their difference in personalities and even Anthony's reaction to green Annie (she's more Surma than Tony, or "all" Surma, while blue Annie looks a lot like when she cut off from her Fire personality)

It's been less than a day, in comic book time, since Fannie returned from the forest. Loup said in 2109 "it's been several days", which, though it took many readers by surprise, seems to indicate there's been time skippage. Huh. I forgot all about that. I guess there are a couple of possible spots for a time skip. One, when Fannie first arrived, they might have quarantined her (in that little room? How long could she possibly be in there?). Maybe the trip to the coast took longer than we realize? (Surely not, England's not that big and the maglev looks designed for short commuter trips.) And finally when she gets woken up for the kidnapping, that might not be the same day. That gives the Annie gang a little more time to plan, but it still seems a bit improvised, even after reading today's strip.

I suppose it's also possible that Loup is an insufferable, impatient god.
