I don't understand the last two panels. What is Fannie pointing at? Where is Renard looking? How do they infer that she is real? She knows those two are dating and it's still a super secret to everyone else. That had eluded me also. But it begs the question of "how did she know it was STILL a secret?" It could well have been revealed to the court-timeline folks (including Courtney!). It's a missed opportunity, it would have been more interesting if they were finally out to their friends, in Fannie's absence, but Fannie was walking on eggshells because she thought it still was a Big Deep Secret...only for Courtney to casually, openly (and smugly, being Courtney) refer to it, and it being no big deal.

Annie doesn't know the relationship is still a secret... but she referred to it in a way that would be non-obvious to anyone not aware of the relationship, and likely immediately obvious to the principals.
Which tells William and Janet that: * F!Annie knows of it * F!Annie knows that, as of her claimed departure, it wasn't public. * (And incidentally, F!Annie can be trusted to not reveal the relationship without permission.)
That matches THEIR knowledge of what Annie knew, and was like, before the claimed departure.
If the relationship is public now, that would be an additional clue: there are things that F!Annie shouldn't know if her claim is true, but would know if she's a recently-created copy of Annie, and she doesn't know them.
(Note: there are WAY too many details that a fake Annie would have to know in order to have any chance of passing, for a fake that is not at least a mental copy of the real one to be taken seriously.)
Now - getting into speculation here - suppose that C!Annie doesn't know of the relationship, or thinks it's a new relationship...
Suppose that C!Annie has been given other secrets since F!Annie's claimed departure, and has not been a trustworthy keeper of those secrets...
If C!Annie has been failing tests like this, and F!Annie passes them... then it would be perfectly reasonable for them to conclude that C!Annie is fake and F!Annie is real.
