Under who's jurisdiction do /you/ fall? I mean, which psychopomp would theorectically come for you when you die?

If Rey was in a body, and it had it's eyes removed, would he be stuck in the eyes, or the body? If he was in the eyes, would he die?

Post by Tom Siddell on Feb 13, 2008 7:51:34 GMT
He'd be stuck in the body.

Post by popo on Feb 13, 2008 8:03:26 GMT
Would he be able to escape from the body, or would he just be stuck there forever or until it dies?

couldn't someone just... like... draw new eyes on it or something?
come to think of it, he might be able to do that himself as long as he had hands and could find his way to a marker

He would be stuck. And yes you could just draw more eyes on.

Would it be necessary for the eyes to be drawn with the specific intent to be eyes (and look like eyes), or would it work if, say, two drops of paint dripped down on him?

what inspired you to make Gunnerkrigg?
Is it now as it was in your head originally? or has it evolved?

Tom, if the translation project goes well, would you be willing/interested in showing them as mirrors of GC? Like if you had a link for versions in other languages.

Joining in on the Reynardine's powers questions here. Would he be able to possess Coyote? I mean in theory it should be possible, but can he possess a god?

Tom, if the translation project goes well, would you be willing/interested in showing them as mirrors of GC? Like if you had a link for versions in other languages. I'd have to see how it goes. You see, projects on the Internet have a habit of going awry, despite everyone starting off with the best intentions. People forget about it, lose interest in it, or just generally can't be bothered seeing it through. As such Internet projects more often than not end up unfinished. Translation in particular is a touchy subject as everyone is their own expert on language. I continue to get emails to this day about the few times I've used foreign dialogue in the comic. The trouble is, there are many ways to translate a single thing into any language depending on where you learn and they are all correct (either formally or informally) and due to the nature of the internet, people just have to point out what they feel is a mistake. This isn't malicious, it's just that people want to be useful but end up stepping on a few toes while doing so. I have no problem at all with people having a go at translating the comic. In fact I think it's really interesting. However, if I was to link it on my comic it would be deemed official and I would start to get mails from people pointing out every mistake. With this in mind, and the sad fact that many internet projects end up unfinished, I have to be realistic and so I don't normally link reader created work on the site (aside from some fanart).
