Will we be seeing Eglamore in his dragon slayer outfit again any time soon?

Is it me, or does Annie's hairstyle change every chapter (albeit subtly)? It is not just you.

Will we be seeing Eglamore in his dragon slayer outfit again any time soon? We will, but again "soon" is relative.

having read your interviews, If I understood correctly you have like 3 months of comic already done...
how much do you laugh reading us make our attemps to figure out where the comic is going?
AND
have you ever had second toughts about something and re-draw it (or re-wrote) before it was published?

To be honest I find it very amusing! I like hearing what people think might come next, though sometimes people can get a little high and mighty about it.
I have second thoughts about stuff all the time, but I never redraw stuff to change the plot, and certainly not based on reader comments. I use the three months to go over past pages and check for errors in the art and text though. If Im not too happy with a section I just have to move on and hope it does okay.

Alright then! This may seem like a really strange thing to ask, and it may mean nothing at all, but I noticed it while re-reading the archives for the millionth time and I just had to. Is there any particular reason Zimmy always has a circle on her shirt in the same place? What I mean is, the white circle on her blue shirt, as can be seen here www.gunnerkrigg.com/archive_page.php?comicID=192 matches up with the circle on her shirt that she wears as part of her school uniform, seen here: www.gunnerkrigg.com/archive_page.php?comicID=191The other students don't have those, so it got me wondering if/why it was a Zimmy-specific thing, or if it was just some kind of crazy coincidence that I am a weirdo for noticing.

Mr. Siddell, while futilely attempting to read through this entire forum thread, I encountered your statement that Antimony has Kate Rusby's accent. Wanting to know who this Kate Rusby was and what sort of delightfully charming accent she might possess, I made a search for her name within YouTube, and was immediately greeted with a video which may be found at the following URL: www.youtube.com/watch?v=JgidfxhVAFUNow, it seems preposterous to me that Miss Rusby could actually be singing a song about a particular fictional games instructor, so I must ask: is this song based on some traditional and surely rousing English tale with which I am unfamiliar? And just who or what exactly is the inspiration for that fictional games instructor?

It's not a coincidence. However explaining it away, while not plot relevant, would spoil things a little.

I see. That's good enough for me! I'm satisfied with just knowing that I am not crazy and making up things that are not there. :3
Thank you for answering.

Isn't she beautiful? The answer is yes. Ah, well that explains everything, now does it not? And yes, she is. You may choose to believe otherwise but I did attempt a cursory search for information regarding the legendary games instructor before posing my question here; however the usually comprehensive Wikipedia came up empty-handed, and poor Google was inundated with hits on the beautiful Miss Rusby. I then considered it prudent to simply go to the source; although I suppose I have become too accustomed to the contemporary refined internet searches which serve up your any whim on the moment: It has very likely been months since I felt a need to look at the second page of a search results list. Regardless, thus foiled by yourself I undertook to unravel the history of this valiant games instructor whose deeds are sung of but not otherwise obviously recorded, making good use of time which I would have otherwise probably wasted by alphabetizing socks or attending wild parties. After commencing my search, my first finding was that the folk ballad concerning our games instructor, which Miss Kate Rusby sings so well in the aforementioned YouTube video, is very old. So at any rate, our legendary games instructor is neither your nor her creation. (That legendary games instructor being distinct from the potentially eponymous one who actually instructs Miss Carver's games lessons, obviously a creature of your design.) Unfortunately I was frustrated in my attempts to find any sort of accompanying explanation of the song's origins, nor was I able to locate any sort of general biography for this legendary games instructor. I did however manage to uncover a single additional legend concerning a character of the same name: This legend concerns a real (and rather picturesque) place known as Aira Force, 'force' being a local term for a waterfall. A popular form of this legend was written into a poem by Mr. William Wordsworth, who titled it The Somnambulist. Attempting to draw conclusions from just those two available legends, I could not at first see anything to meaningfully connect them with your particular games instructor, aside from their main character's uncommon name and unusual profession. However, after repeated readings Mr. Wordsworth's poem seems to give something up: it contains a variation on a climactic event, which while not particularly closely mirrored in your wonderful and engrossing comic, did in your comic have a dramatic emotional effect on the character in question, which in this new light suggests that perhaps something in our games instructor's previous romantic relationships has been drawn from the legend of Aira Force after all? Although, I wouldn't quite equate taking employment as a games instructor with becoming a hermit. Also, I have decided that in my own personal canon Surma Stibnite spoke with the voice of Kate Rusby, was familiar with the folk ballad in question, and was inclined to sing it when she was in a very good mood.

Jeez, man. I like the song by Kate Rusby so I made a character loosly based on the lyrics of the song. That's all she wrote.

Regarding structure, in general terms there's always a "hard" chapter full of plot, followed by a "soft" chapter, not directly involving the main chain of events, but giving most of the times important information regarding this (one exception, from chapter 8 to 9, both are "hard").
Like, we change from "Fangs of Summertime" diplomatic battle, to Red's haircut.
Can we expect this kind of structure for the future?

"Kat-ya"
And no. That was a concept piece I made before I started the comic. Nothing of value can be discerned from it.

Ooh! I have questions!
Are the conditions for Reynardine's body transferral (the eye requirement) based on any myths or legends, or is it something you just came up with yourself?
What are the students in Chester house like? So far we've seen people from Foley, Thornhill and Queslet. Thornhill and Queslet seem to be made up of ordinary kids (well, relatively). Is Chester the same?
Was Mort a student at the court?

Zimmy and Gamma are both from Chester, so that might give some indication.
